I am not a fan of heavy nutmeg or cinnamon. In my opinion this drink needed more banana flavor to balance out the nutmeg/cinnamon. However, I still gave 4 stars because although the drink was just okay, the customer service with a SMILE was superb from the gentleman at the drive through window. 5 second coffee stop. Once again, Doug and I were up early at our hotel and decided to get coffee while everyone slowly woke up from their drinking stupor. As we drove up the road to 5 Bean, we actually drove past it since we didn't see it on the left side of the road. We then backtracked and missed it again as we didn't see it. We decided to drive around to the back side of the building to see if GPS was being goofy and the only thing back there was... the back of the stores. As we were pulling up to the main road, we looked across the street and finally saw 5 Bean. Either GPS was way wrong or they moved locations recently and it wasn't corrected yet. We rolled up and the second we stepped inside, Doug got a call for everyone's drink order. I snagged myself my as-of-late usual Americano and Doug got himself a Frozen Hot Chocolate. Yep, you read that right. The baristas were friendly and fast. Despite it being the morning rush of people getting their bean juice, our 6 person drink order took no time at all. (We had 7 people in our group but one was dead to the world until 5pm that night.) Once the drinks were loaded up in a drink carrier, we dipped out. The place was nice, if not your typical coffeehouse. If our group would've showed up and decided to sit down, we would've taken up most of the seating area. So, keep that in mind if you and some peeps want to come for a relaxing time. As for my drink? It was good. Americanos are a very varied drink based on how they do their espresso. This one was a bit more on the bitter side, which didn't pair well with my slight hangover but was good nonetheless. It was half gone before we got back to the hotel, if that tells you anything. If you're looking for some syrup with coffee in it, this is your spot. They have a huge selection of syrups and specialty drinks and offered me whipped cream on my iced matcha (who does that???) and flavored syrup. I'm a bit of a drink traditionalist, so I wanted to say no, but I was worried my matcha would be painfully bitter without. I needn't have worried. It turned out unpleasantly sweet and only halfway to matcha. My companion's coffee was excellent, though, and they had incredibly quick and friendly service. Parking: plenty parking. Located in a shopping area. They also have a drive thru window! Ambience: relaxed environment. Italian jazzy music in the background. Service: great service. The servers were polite and welcoming. They were also really patient with us while handling the drive thru window. Coffee quality: 3.5/5 overall good but not great. I received a gift card to 5Bean Coffee from my work and decided to check it out. They have a drive-thru which is perfect for times like these. The inside is very cozy and they have a lot of choices. I got an iced chai tea latte with almond milk. It was $5.80, including the up-charge for the almond milk. The gift card I had was $5.00 and I was going to charge the rest on my credit card, only to find out your credit card charges have to be a minimum of $1.00. This forced me to buy an additional item so I got a blueberry muffin. Not what I wanted to do and I wish the employee would've told me ahead of time. I also felt a little rushed by the employee. They do have a lot of sugar free choices so I got the sugar free vanilla and the employee said the chai had a sugar free option too. I'm not sure if it's real chai or just flavored chai...the drink tasted good, but real chai tea would be better! There are plenty of amazing coffee shops in Columbus, but I love getting 5 Bean's frozen lattes. They're an upgraded Frappuccino that has the consistency and richness of a milkshake. I always make it a point to stop when I'm on this side of town. The shop is super cute and everyone is kind. The drive through is super speedy, I'm not sure how they make the frozen drinks so quickly? The quality is always great and a really nice treat yo' self type of caffeinated beverage. Try to remember to add a tip to your purchase when driving through. We have that courtesy with other businesses, but you don't usually have to sign. The shop is located close to Bibibop, in the same plaza - 2087 Baltimore Reynoldsburg Road. I called the coffee shop when I had trouble finding the place, they answered and gave me directions to where they were located. Alas, I was saddened to find that there was only drive-through service. At that, there were some less than ideal signs up posting the announcement. I have driven by this place 100s of times because I don't realize it was there. This place is tucked away off of 256 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. You have to look for it, or else you'll miss it if you drive by and blink. Please put it in the GPS and head there today. I promise you you will not be disappointed. The frozen drinks here are stunning. I will caution you, however, that they are extremely rich. My go-to beverage here is the Frozen Caramel Cream. If you have any sugar cravings, this drink will take care of them for you. It has a creamy, caramel taste with some strong buttery notes in there. The other fantastic thing about this drink is that it stays frozen for a long time. You know how some frozen drinks, after a few seconds, become liquidy; this doesn't do that. The crumble cake they have here is delicious as well. It's light on the cinnamon taste but heavy on the butter in a Paula Dean sort of way. It's also pretty massive, so be prepared to share or pack on a few pounds. It's your choice; choose wisely. Customer service is always superb. I ordered a Large 5 Bean Mocha (Hot) and a Kid's Hot Chocolate. I did see that all of the options were available in hot, iced, and frozen. I thought that that was neat. I also saw that they have breakfast sandwich and bagel options as well. The 5 Bean Mocha was just alright for me. I did not think that it was worth the $5. I might try something different next time. My daughter enjoyed her hot chocolate. I like that the hot chocolate was lukewarm so that my daughter could immediately enjoy it. They do currently have a 10% off Yelp check-in offer too! read more

Visited today with a colleague for a work session and I was pleased with the visit. I ordered a hot tea and an Asiago bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. The tea and bagel were made pretty quickly even though there was a constant stream at the drive thru window and the inside register. The bagel was tasty and exactly what I was looking for. My hot tea wasn't hot at all, but when I took it back and asked for it to be topped off with hot water, they replaced it because their hot water tap wasn't working correctly. After that, my tea was nice and hot. They even gave me an extra tea bag. The shop is small and there was continuous foot traffic, but it was easy to work there and the wifi was strong. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. It's a good midpoint for my colleague and me, so I'm sure we'll be back. read more

I have found a new favorite coffee place! I have been here several times, with the recent times during the COVID restrictions.... even with being overworked, every employee was pleasant and attentive. During my last visit through the drive through, it began thunder storming, the drive thru attendant gave me extra napkins, without me asking, to dry the inside of my door. On to the offerings.... my new found favorite is the frozen lavender cold brew latte, the frozen factor intensifies the lavender flavor. They also offer keto friendly bagels, and several pastries (I have yet to try). I believe the bagels are locally sourced, and are actually flavorful. I've been in the actual store, very briefly, and remember it being cute... I'm so glad we have a coffee shop like this in Reynoldsburg! Their coffee, tea, food and service are all top-notch. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu -- I have yet to be disappointed. In addition to the coffees, teas, lattes and blended cold drinks (which can all be customized if you're looking for decaf, lighter options, etc.), we were really impressed by their muffins and cookies. They also have kid-sized hot chocolate and frozen hot chocolate so my kiddos look forward to visiting as well! Parking is plentiful and they have a drive-through that goes around behind the building. Inside, they have outlets at most tables and a small counter by the window with power hookups if you're looking for someplace to work. Free WiFi as well, you just need to ask an employee for the passcode. It's a great place to put in some headphones and really grind, however it's a little noisy for phone calls or video chats because it's usually packed with people and the equipment to make the drinks can be periodically loud. If you've never visited 5 Bean, and you enjoy supporting independently owned local businesses, I suggest making it a point to stop by and try it out. Yesterday morning my daughter and I were out doing some shopping and decided to find a new place for some coffee and breakfast. When we walked in no one greeted us having never been there before we reviewed the menu decided what we wanted and went to the order and pay here sign where we waited for about 5 minutes while every employee was helping the drive thru window. Once they finally asked if we were ready to order I began our order but she was acting very rushed and when I asked to add cold foam she said what flavor and I asked what the options are and she acted annoyed and pointed to a list on the counter and said any of these. we placed our order and sat down waiting for it to be ready. while sitting there they greeted several other customers upon entering the shop whom it appeared to be regulars. once we finished our breakfast we proceeded to leave and wasn't acknowledged like so many other customers were by saying thanks for coming.
