I've always passed this coffee shop on farmers market days and finally had a day off to pop in and check it out! I had a craving for cinnamon roll and kitties popped up on my suggested on Google and decided to give it a shot. The cinnamon roll was fine, a little doughier than I wanted and not enough cinnamon personally but I can see why people like it. Nonetheless, it was still soft but I probably wouldn't go out of my way again to grab it. The space is light and airy and the natural light that comes in floods the space beautifully. I could see myself brining a laptop and hanging out by the windowsill or the booths. I personally didn't notice too many outlets so make sure you come with some juice in the tank already just in case. Stopped by kitties before a movie date with my sisters. I had never been before, but one of my sisters had only great things to say. The inside is cute with very limited seating, but we managed to snag a table. We were there on a Sunday morning. There is a little boutique in the back, but sadly it is closing. I checked out the menu beforehand and was excited to try an eggnog, cold brew, but they were out. When I got to the register, I saw there was a list of housemate syrups, and while I didn't see matcha listed online, they did have it. So I was able to get a juniper basil Matcha latte with almond milk. It was super tasty and refreshing. It was the right amount of sweet and the syrup was subtle and not overpowering. One of my sisters got the sweet potato maple biscuit sandwich. It was definitely five stars. So good. The biscuit itself was honestly amazing. I got the cheddar jalapeño biscuit sandwich. It came with pimento cheese spread, egg, and a cheddar jalapeño biscuit. It was also five stars. The prices are a little steep, but the sandwiches were a pretty good size and the quality of everything we had was delicious. One of my sisters also got a salted maple iced chai and it was awesome. The girl taking my order was super sweet and helpful with recommendations. She definitely added to the experience. The only downside to our visit was the girl making our drinks and handing them out got unexpectedly snarky with me. It threw me off for a little bit, but I was still able to enjoy the visit and would recommend it to anyone! I would love to try more of their housemaid syrups. read more

This is a cute little coffee shop gift shop store combo. I have walked by Kittie's many times and finally had a chance to stop in. The gift shop is a cute little space with a variety of items, like jewelery, skin care, stickers, and more. The coffee shop seemed like a simple menu with a small pastry case. I was on my way to brunch so nothing especially looked enticing to want to try. There are a couple of seats inside for folks to take a break and enjoy their drink or snack. So happy to see that Kitties finally changed the Highline coffee sign on their store front and have their shop branded with their cute logo and name. It looks really nice. I love how they have a dining area with the ordering area tucked to the side. It works very well. Disclaimer:Our friends own this place so I I am trying hard to be unbiased... but honestly, they run a great business and are great people, so they tend to hire great staff and have good attention to detail. This is definitely the case with this location. This is definitely my favorite staff of the three locations. They make their own food. Its baked in their shop downtown. Today, I had been at Joya's down the road and felt guilty so I came up the block and got a pastry to eat later for my lunch. This is a cute little bakery right along the very walkable section of Old Worthington. We were able to find street parking across the street. There are a couple of small tables, plus some higher seating inside the shop. There's a cute table with some fun little items to peruse, and a very nice collection of art for sale lines the walls. And if you cross the back, you can check out a great little art studio, Shift Studios. While the vibe is great, the real draw, of course, is the goodies behind the glass case. They have tons of tasty options - a variety of cookies, cinnamon rolls, and more. You can also get breakfast sandwiches made to order on some fun flavors of biscuits, with choices that include everything, cheddar jalapeno, or sweet potato maple. We opted to try some sweet and some savory - the egg and cheese on cheddar jalapeno was very good - a generous, filling portion with a little bit of a zip. Stopped by here on a Saturday around 4:45pm. We knew going in that they closed at 5 and we're thankful that they were able to make two iced mochas for us. The drinks tasted very familiar to us bc they use One Line Coffee espresso, which is the same brand our local shop (Espresso 22 in Powell) uses and tasted great, so the drinks get 5 stars. Now on to the employees. The one employee (female) who made our drinks and served them with a smile was open to conversation and accommodating, so she gets 5 stars. The other employee (male) clearly wanted us to not come in to and also wanted us to leave as soon as we had drinks in hand. I was asking him about the confusion with their name bc clicking on their website in Yelp takes you to Kitties bakery and we soon found out that Kitties recently bought High Line. He seemed to be offended at my asking so idk if he was bothered by the buyout or what (lol, I'm coming up with a narrative here to understand his attitude, I know). To that, bc it was close to closing, all the Kitties pastries had been cleared out. I asked if anything was left we could buy (I could see biscuits sitting on a rack right behind him!) and he flatly said no. So he gets 3 stars for willing to accept our money and at least answer about Kitties buying them. read more

There's also rotating artwork displayed, providing that local flair. The coffee is overall good, with beans provided by One Line. My personal favorite drink here is the Highline Hazel, which is their speciality. There are a wide variety of different syrups though that you can also mix and match in your drinks. Additionally, you can grab some gluten free goodies but no other food options. Want to get some work done here? You can get the WiFi with any purchase and there are quite a few outlets. My favorite place to sit is in front of the window that peers out into High Street. It's great for people watching, especially on Saturday during the Farmers Market.
