Not sure the rates but our production was semi-large and I saw several other crews walking scouting, both large and small so I am betting it won't break the bank. I asked if he rents out for afterhours parties as this location and venue would be perfection but alas he is not into that. :( My fifth star goes on simply because they have a house cat named Lacy - she's this older grey cat with one eye who is super sweet.

The entire bathroom of "Saw" was created in the soundstage. I rigged that bathroom. But no one cares. I personally thought it looked like shit. So much so, when it was spoofed years later in "Scary Movie 4" they knew they didn't want to re-create that oppressive mint green--anyway...the other was a feature called "Afro Ninja." We used so many different areas of that place. They have what is known as "standing sets" which with cheap wall paper and paint, you can make the rooms they have up look different than movies you've seen. They're like little dioramas of space. Anyway, dunno the politics or the production costs or location fees, but as a location, you could potentially shoot your entire feature here. "Saw" did.

Very little parking and the back leads into an alley way. There was a lot of guests so we were told to park in the residential area which had sketchy surroundings when walking back towards the event space. When we entered the space, it felt like an open layout house. Fairly modern design. Useful space. Two restrooms for guests. There was a small connecting area with a fridge for storage. The next room over was perfect for a small play bouncer. No kitchen area. The catering company all had to set up outside in the already limited parking lot area. The pavement was in ruin. Needs to be replaced. The AC was very cold on a 67 degree day. Two stars docked for the limited parking. inconvenience and the odd location in a commercial/residential zoned area.
