Chris and his associate Mike showed up a bit early (great!) and did a wonderful job on what turned out to be a complicated task. It took a lot of maneuvering to get the old unit disassembled and removed, but the guys worked diligently and got it done. Since I hadn't been able to clean behind the old unit for over 20 years you can well imagine the huge dust bunnies left behind! Mike was nice enough to sweep that up without my asking, excellent service all around. Neither Jeremy nor Jesse Fields of Fields Contracting (who they both asked us to make the deposit check out to) have responded to our attempts to contact them about returning a portion of the hefty deposit. Guess we'll have to take them to small claims court, which they could easily avoid by fair and ethical treatment of a customer who had high hopes that the job would/should have been done months ago (in which case our replacement insurance would have covered the loss).
