We spent a good 12+ months researching online and in person as to which windows and installer to use. We settled on Total Home KC at the recommendation of others and other contractors who use them, and we also settled on Marvin Integrity windows (fiberglass exterior, real wood interior). We have casement windows and they are not cheap, or easy to replace. We had 33 total panes of glass replaced - 17 windows out of 19 in the house - all complete frame replacements inside and out (no insert replacements -forget that). So it was a HUGE project financially for us, so we didn't take it lightly. We were very apprehensive. Bottom line - Total Home KC is HANDS DOWN the best window installers and Marvin Integrity, with the real wood interiors for a top-end look, and fiberglass exterior for lifetime maintenance-free, was perfect. Jake Matthew, Total Home KC's Window guy, is the best in the business - up front, easy to talk to, knows the window replacement business, honest, responsive, and trustworthy. I would love to go have a beer with the guy, he's that nice. Pat Strand, the owner, is also top-shelf, and I'd recommend him and his company to ANYONE for ANY home remodeling. The window installers - Mirek and Antonio - are the ONLY 2 installers Total Home uses, and they've been with TH for like 17 yrs now - they work hard, they are perfectionists, they clean up every day, and they did a 200% perfect job for us with installs, framing, brick molding, caulking, sealing, cleaning, and interior drywall work where needed. The finishers - Javier and Jorge - did an incredible job staining the inside to match all the other oak wood trim in the house, and matched the paint for all interior and exterior walls and trim. Top to bottom - Total Home KC is by far the best home remodeler we've ever worked with (and we've used Jericho and others as well, all very good too). USE THEM!!!

After inspecting the roof and getting everything through the insurance company, we upgraded from the builder grade roof to their premium roofing (30 year impact resistant, 120mph wind resistant), which was about an additional $1,200 above what the insurance was going to cover. So far all was good, until around March 31st of this year, at which time we had high winds ( 40-45mph sustained winds and gust up to about 55mph - well below the rating of the roofing) but had a number of shingles blow off. I have tried to contact the company about the situation but the number on the website (913-286-4826 goes to a towing service and another number I was able to find just goes to a voice mail - of which I have left a number of voice mails that are never returned. Now I am left with a exposed roof that I am going to have to pay someone to repair something that ABC Roofing should be fixing but I can't speak to anyone or get them to return my calls. I need them to quickly contact me and fix the issue or reimburse me for having to have to pay another company to fix their incompetence.

I…read morehad already gotten an engineer out to design the beam to replace it, and Earthway had no issues with that. They began working on it fairly quickly and they completed the job to spec per the drawing, and I would say it looks great. Their framer is a magician and I did not see him have to do a single re-cut. The patch work done looks spectacular as well. They were prompt, clean, flexible, and no job was too small for them which given the current times, it was really appreciated. I would recommend them. I did see a negative review on here prior to hiring them but decided one bad review in a pool of good ones tells me there is more to the story. I did some of my own research, the case the user on here filed was dismissed in JOCO courts. It seems he is a wealthy business person who is trying to use his money and status to coerce the company into doing "free" work by claiming the job was not done correctly or was unsafe. I would take their review with a grain of salt.

They do not supervise crews properly and will not own up to mistakes. My family was also subjected to dangerous oil paint fumes resulting in medical bills. Earthway is ignoring us. STAY AWAY. There are too many options to trust what Earthway had become.
