Some of the best pizzas we experienced in all of Naples! The dough was really light, the produce was super fresh, and it was a fun experience to eat the pizza on the outside patio and watch the hustle and bustle of Napoli fly by. Also, the pizzas run about 9-10 Euros, so the price was right! Definitely recommended if you're in the area and looking to satisfy your pizza craving!

If you have before or after, it was really nice walking through the park and asking the water. 50 Kalo isn't really close by Napoli Céntrale, the bus also doesn't have a/c, but I think it's worth the trip. We got there around 7PM on Monday and there was plenty of seating, but as the night progressed it started filling up and it was pretty crowded in the front when we left.. I thinking The pizza actually reminded me of some of the Neapolitan pizzas in the US. Very chewy crust and a little wet, not in bad way. It is on the pricier end for Napoli pizza apparently. I quite enjoyed my pizza, it was pretty heavy on the cream, so if you are lactose intolerant, definitely take the lactaid. I do wish there was a bit more greens on mine. Overall the food was pretty good and there was a quite a line when we were leaving. We had ordered a glass of wine - 9€, 2 pizzas (15€ & 13€) and a sparking water 2.5 or 3€.

My husband and I walked 30 minutes to get here while staying in Naples and it was so worth the walk! We took the scenic route and the views on the way were beautiful! When we arrived, there was a line outside before they opened, which we were nervous about, but we were seated right away! The wine was perfect, and the pizza we ordered came out quickly! It was a delicious, traditional, Neapolitan pizza, with a fluffy crust and a thin middle. A classic Italian pizza that I would highly recommend traveling for. We sat by the road and were able to people watch and enjoy our pizza together.

One of the most popular pizza restaurants in Naples! Authentic Italian Pizza at its best!

Came here after hearing so many good things, and it was indeed a very good experience, albeit not quite 5 star quality. Frittatina di bucatini (€2.50) - This little ball of fried pasta was a unique dish, at least for me, which I enjoyed. It was fried on the outside yet still soft and creamy on the inside. Ripieno fritto classico (€9.50) - This was essentially a fried calzone, and it was gigantic! It literally barely fit on the place, although upon closer examination, there was actually a lot of air inside. Still, it was a very large portion size. It was pretty tasty too with some typical calzone ingredients. The restaurant has lots of seating both outside and inside, and I did not have any wait for a table for weekday dinner. It's a pretty nice environment and the staff are very friendly and attentive (there are lots of them walking around checking on people). The service speed was fast too. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at 50 Kalo and would recommend it, particularly to anyone interested in the fried/normal pizzas (there are lots of options to choose from).

This was one of the best pizzas I've had in my entire life! Am I another American tourist who has bad taste? Maybe. But pizza is my favorite food so I live and die by it, and this one is worth dying for. I've never had a pizza that made me feel things in my soul like this one. The buffalo mozzarella was so creamy that it was almost like a sauce and the spicy pepperoni had the most beautiful kick. There is pizza on every corner in Italy, especially in Napoli. But this is the place you MUST visit no matter what!

First Pizza in Napoli. The good here is definitely an expression of the city: vibrant and tasty. The service is amicable bit can get lost and forgetful when it gets busy (don't we all). We sat al fresco and got to watch the world wiz by on foot, in cars and on scooters. This place definitely lives up to the online remarks and local recommendations!

Worth the hype! After getting this recommended from so many people, we knew we had to stop by. Yes you have to put your name down and wait but honestly the time flew by. You're just a part of the Naples energy at that point. The pizzas themselves are so freakin good! The crust is exactly what you're looking for in a solid Neapolitan style pizza. I had the Potato and Provola which was like a mashed potato sauce with smoked Mozzarella. It's for sure one to try. If you're in Naples, get a Taxi and go here!

At #7 world and #4 of the best Neapolitan pizza in Italy, 50K is consistently solid pizza. The quality is top notch, service is quick, and there is not a pizza on the menu that can't meet your desire to come back and keep trying more. You want burrata, they have; salami, they have; or just plain Margherita. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the interior is nice but not so fancy. Everyone is welcome. They don't take reservations as many reviewers point out, so recommend going as soon as they open or closing time. Otherwise, put your name on the list and enjoy the scooters passing by. It is indeed worth it.

The pizza I ate at 50 Kalo was definitely in the top 5 pizzas I've ever had. Delicious dough, flavored products, professional and friendly staff. My party of 8 went on a Monday evening and didn't have to wait at all. The pizza was fantastic, but the pistachio cheesecake was out of this world. I would call it more like a cream pie, but it was still so amazing. Everyone should absolutely try the pizza and desserts here!

    Bufala pizza

The service here is absolutely awful. From start to finish it was rude, cold and inattentive. There's a wait here always because they claim not to take reservations. Yet somehow, only certain people are able to sit inside. If it's first come, first serve then it will be possible for anyone to sit outside or inside. The hostess in charge of the wait yelled at us for even asking to sit inside. We waited for 30 min. A few people came and didn't even have to wait. They just went right inside. Strange for a place that doesn't take reservations. Seems like they favor locals and their friends. Most importantly! The pizza is not good or remarkable enough to make up for the service. I thought maybe it'll all be worth it for the pizza. But it's very basic Neapolitan pizza. You can find it in every city in Italy. No need to waste one's time and come here. No clue why on earth it's so popular. Better pizza is easy to find. The sauce was bland and lacking. Crust was typical. Bufala was thick and chewy.

This place is rated as a top pizza joint in all of Naples. They have a lively outdoor patio and very nice indoor seating. The service is great and quick. The food is remarkable. Easily the best pizza I've ever had in my life!

We looked hard for the best pizza in Napoli! This was a difficult task as there are so many pizzerias. All the guides seemed to indicate that 50 Kalo was one of the best and it sure did not disappoint. The line is long outside but after about 30 minutes we were seated outside. You don't come here for the ambiance as there is none but to savour one of the best Neapolitan pizza you will ever have. We took the classic margarita which came exactly like it should: as chewy crust a little soggy in the middle because of the tomato sauce and olive oil and elevated on the side. The spicy sausage one had a little tangy flavor that was so good! We definitely would come back if we ever make it again to Naples

Yelp Review #25 (2026)…read more Visited in June 2026. There are two lines when arriving. There is a to go line that's pretty short, an a dine in ticket line that you receive from the employee by the entrance. If you visit their museum to learn about the history of Antica, then your indoor seating is expedited. After the museum, we sat down and ordered our delicious pizza. A long line on the side of the building was for ordering to go. And if you wanted to sit down you grabbed a ticket number. We got a number and waited. Our number was skipped, but we thought maybe they were calling small parties first, we were a group of 5. My husband went to show the man our number and he said, you need to wait and so we did. Another 10 or so groups were called and got a little impatient so my husband went again and tried to speak with the man. He sort of yelled at my husband that why didn't he come tell him sooner....which he had tried? Anyways. He did try to accommodate us quickly after that, but we did wait about 40mins total I would say. We sat down and a middle aged woman took our order but she was quite rude. The whole time she was staring down a table next to us, it seemed she was focused on if they were paying their bill to the counter instead of her. (We understood later why she was so worried about this). We got 3 pizzas and 4 small cokes for the table. Our pizza came basically uncooked. The pizza was raw and soaked and we couldn't even cut it. The only part that was sort of cooked was the crust. There was too much commotion in the store to even talk to anyone. So we ate the edges, drank our sodas and just wanted to leave. We looked around for a server but we didn't see anyone so, my husband got up to pay the man at the little desk at the front and we found out they charged us 1€ a person to sit down, so a 5€ total for us, which we understood as a service fee, that's fine makes sense since we used up some space. My father and I were last to leave the table and this original female server comes yelling at us that we didn't pay. So I show her the receipt, I tried to be understanding that maybe they have dealt with people skipping out? So I tried not to taking the shouting too much to heart. I don't know but I was calm and wanted her to feel comfortable that we had paid our bill. She nods that she sees it and then proceeded to keep her voice raised and tell us that this didn't include her tip which was mandatory. I don't know why I would tip you for crap service and uncooked food. My father wanted to leave without making a scene so he dug out 3€ from his pocket for her. But I regret not telling her to keep their voice down and that if a tip was required they should put it on the bill and walk out. 0/5 Service 1/5 Food

I haven't eaten tomatoes this good on a pizza before, they felt super authentic and local The crust wasn't as airy as another place I've been, but it was still quite soft and pleasurable to eat. The bottom of the crust, though, was unparalleled. It was so unbelievably soft, and didn't even feel like you were eating pizza. A lot of the pizza I've eaten in the past has included this hard bottom curst that's noticeable, but this bottom crust just floated through each bite like butter. Holding up a slice was so floppy The cheese was also fantastic - I do wish there was slightly more of it - but it was still amazingly good I tried a bit of a vegan pizza that someone at my table ordered - and my god that was astoundingly good - even better than the margherita I had. If I was here again I would definitely order the pizza that had white sauce rather than tomato sauce - because even though the tomatoes were really good, I think I just prefer the alfredo-style sauce on pizza.

Multiplie locations exist, six in Naples, three on the same street! At first I wondered if it was a "Ray's Pizza" situation* though turns out they are all legitimately related, arising from the success of the pizzeria opened in by Gino Sorbillo. Aside from Naples they have locations in several other Italian cities (Rome, Milan, Bergamo, Turin, Bologna, Padua, and Genoa), even a location on Tokyo. This specific location where the pin is dropped on the Yelp map is for Gino e Tito Sorbillo, eponymously named for the now famous pizza chef and his brother, and the nicer sit-down version of the restaurant.** This is the original shop where it all began, and the business' historical headquarters. Outside, you'll see a couple paper cutouts of the chef, with a chef's coat and a smile. The unwavering popularity of their pizza is undeniable--one look at the crowds outside this storefront and it's immediately apparent. Be prepared as the wait is not for the faint-hearted or the extremely hungry. Luckily I had a snack before arriving (see separate review for Sfogliatelle Mary). 9:05pm: I arrived to a semi-circular crowd centered around the doorway of Gino e Tito Sorbillo. Headed up the hostess stand and she said 20-25 minutes so I figured why not. 9:30pm: the crowd around the door seems to have increased, at least stayed the same, a handful of parties were called up. I realize now that the hostess gives everyone the same estimate. Watching many parties that were there when I arrived--they are still waiting too. 9:50pm: I'm considering leaving at this point since there's significant second-hand smoke from multiple people smoking outside, though the crowd of people in front of the restaurant is going strong. 10:00pm: I go up to the stand and ask how much longer the wait will be, she says "oh you're a single diner right? I forgot, let me check." 10:05pm: she calls my name and ushers me inside. I'm seated at bar table seating at a window which works for me. Staff is quick to pass a menu, and take an order. 10:20pm the wait for the pizza after ordering was faster than expected. It only took about 7-8 minutes. Getting to the pizza--if you look up the definition of a Neapolitan style pizza, this is it! Served straight outta the oven as an entire pie, extremely thin, saucy in the middle, floppy base though evenly leopard-spotted on the bottom and the crust, pillowy and airy crust with a slightly crisp exterior. The tomato sauce was very fresh, and I loved the varying texture of the dough, great baked/slightly charred flavor. I got the Antonio which included regionally sourced cherry tomatoes, olives, capers, anchovies, basil. While I love both ingredients, the fish and capers together unfortunately were way too salty, I had to pick off some of these. Also I have to say as the pizza cooled, the room temp saucy dough wasn't quite as appealing as when it was hot. lol so if you consume it quickly it'll be fine! The serving size was also very generous, see pic with my hand next to the pie, I couldn't finish it in the end! Staff was quite friendly overall and I appreciated that they didn't pack the house or rush diners inside even with so many people waiting. That being said it was still pretty busy so you'll have to flag them down. After the meal, bring your bill up to the register to pay. *if you're familiar with NYC you'll know there are about 20 different Ray's Pizzas all claiming to be the original, which one is real? no one knows... **The other two locations on the same street are more casual, one is a takeout spot probably to handle the overflow from the main restaurant.

As for the pizza, it was everything we would expect from an authentic Napoli pizza; soft and doughy in the center with light and fluffy crust. It was also perfectly seasoned, and I loved the mixture of meat and vegetables. The servers were also friendly, and this is a spot that is as great for a casual night out as it is for a fancier dinner. We did not try their pasta, but I saw seafood pasta that looked delicious. I would not hesitate to stop by if I visit Naples in the future.

I had already fought a pigeon earlier so we went upstairs. We were put at a table wedged in a corner when there were other tables available, so that was kind of off putting. I ordered a glass of house white wine and still water. We shared some squash blossoms that were outstanding. I got the Margherita and Husband got the Thomas pizza, which had ham and tomatoes and pesto and four kinds of cheese! We both tasted each other's pizza. They were good. Service isnt bad but its not that great either. Im glad we experienced this historical spot!

Tandem is amazing. We went to the original location for lunch without a reservation, and they told…read moreus that they were booked up, but that they had a second location a few blocks away that could likely accommodate us. They picked up the phone, made a call, and a table was secured. We walked over, and were immediately seated. The waiter brought a box of multiple shapes of pasta, explained what each was called, and which sauces were appropriate with each. We ended up ordering caprese salad (the freshest buffalo mozzarella we ever had), one pasta, and the bread loaf filled with meatballs and ragu. We were in heaven, and the portions were tremendous. We left stuffed, satisfied, and paid about 45 euros for the meal. Highly recommended!

But the staff was friendly and we were able to get a seat without too much of a wait. I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars primarily because the offer something very unique. A vegetarian Ragu with seitan. This place is known for great ragu, which is meat based. But they offer a vegitarian version that was very good. I got a mushroom pasta dish that was very tatsy and filling. I could only eat half due to how filling it was. My wife got an Aperol spritz and I got an italian beer. If we were back in the area we'd likely stop back in to rty other options on their large menu.
