It became apparent to me that one of my 10 ply tires on my trailer was dangerously bald and I was worried to make it through the mountain pass and the isolated rural desert roads to get back to Las Vegas. So I called around and found Delta tire. They got me in even though it was right toward the end of their day and they were getting ready to close. Colby (or Coby) and the other staff were so helpful and accommodating. We got a very fair price for two 10 ply tires and then we were on our way. We still had about 6 and 1/2 hours left to our journey but at least I knew that we were going to be safe going to the desert and not be stranded with some flat tires without any help. The thing really did a number to my tire; it blew out my front right side tire. We called for a tow truck, and the ETA was 300 minutes. 5 hours for a TOW!? Luckily, Lorenzo offered to drive on the freeway, jack up the car, take my tire off, drive back to the shop, put the new tire on the rim, then drive back to the freeway and put the new tire on. It was A++ service. He and his family were incredible, great, friendly, and hardworking people! He works with you, and the price was fair as well. We stayed on top on them and they kept saying it would be done that week . Even sent a video . Well 3 months , yes still there they stopped responding . It is now June 4th and they stopped responding . We both called a few times a week, sent emails and text . No response or even anyone picking up the phone . We are from out of state so can't just drive up there . So now 6 month later we need to take legal actions to get this resolved . This is out of control , what kinda of business does this ! ??? ignore their paying customer !! Do not go here , go to the one next door like we should have done !!

On a high about early success went to look at another spot for the evening hunt and my front right shock broke off and hit my fuse box exposing a wire which created a short. Ended up having to use a back country tow company to pull me out. time lost and added expenses killed the hunt but I am lucky that Steve with Off the Edge Recovery in Grants, NM was there! The tow was not the expensive part of all of this surprisingly. Quick addition to all my hunts now is a contact with a tow company that services the mtns I will be hunting!
