Don't use 50Floor, they don't stand behind their work or warrant. Transitions at doorways never completed, don't return phone call, left twenty messages and now going to small claims court in Warren County. Cut carpet at baseboards and not tucked in. Did not bring transitions wooden pieces for wood floor or aluminum for carpet doorways. One your billed they are through with you. read more

If I could give zero stars it would be a more accurate review. My husband and I used 50floorservices in October of 2025. The crew left damage and not just missing pieces- but large sections of our home without trim -with a promise to return to fix it. We didn't hear back for months, so we reached out to our original sales consultant - Baylor (sales lead that came to service us from Georgia), who gave us the contact information for Steve (manager - Cincinnati) and John (operations - Cincinnati). Steve sends every call to voicemail. John spoke with me over the phone and even came to our house to survey the damage and what was missing from our installation and said he would send a crew to fix it. We never heard back, and I have not been able to get in touch with him since. We have a lifetime warranty for this floor and the lack of communication has been really frustrating. We aren't talking about just a few bumps in the trim or flooring, an entire section of our home is bare, transitions cracked, loose, and broken, pieces were never nailed down, the boards are coming apart to show the subfloor in our hallway. Unfortunately we also have damage to our walls, baseboards, and door transitions from the installation crew as well. It's clear that they were trying to meet a deadline and rush the job - we find new easter eggs everyday- yesterday we learned we can't open our sliding door because they installed trim over it. It's hugely disappointing and frankly embarrassing because we were so clearly conned by 50Floors. We don't have a ton of money to spare for this type of upgrade as young homeowners. We were sweet talked into using what little we had to try to upgrade the home we love- and it's turned into this embarrassing never ending nightmare. read more

We were extremely disappointed with our experience with 50Floor. The sales pitch was great, but the actual installation was rushed and poor quality, resulting in uneven floors, horrible finishing with quarter round, and damaged baseboards. We made several calls to the field manager who finally visited our home to examine the unfinished work. Although he agreed there were items that needed attention, the worker who was sent refused to correct the issues. It also took 4 days and several calls later for the trash to be removed from our driveway. We would not recommend them based on our experience. read more

50 floor's workmanship, business practices, and communication are so incredibly terrible that I would advise any homeowner to run FAR away rather than doing business with 50 Floor. I am sharing our experience to warn fellow homeowners. Their national manager- Dana Mason as well as the SCG branch manager- Broc Stanley, do not care about appearance or quality workmanship and 50 floor installation warranty is entirely worthless. They started installation in October but did not finish installation until February. Their subcontractors, SCG Surfaces Construction Group, spoke very little if any English, did not show up when they were supposed to (total no-show or several days later), had to glue down my floating floor near the stairs because they misaligned the board and had to cut it to fit rather than locking it in place, broke our bed frame when moving it (and neglected to tell us about the damage), and it was discovered that they did not abide by basic industry and manufacture installation standards when they left our concrete subfloor largely exposed with missing vapor barrier in several large areas. This allowed moisture from the concrete to destroy our new flooring in a few months time, warping and cupping the boards. 50 floor was contacted, but did not take responsibility for the damaged flooring and stated that they would not be assisting us with removal or replacement. We were forced to remove this damaged flooring ourselves, discovering large areas that were missing any vapor barrier, leaving the boards exposed to moisture from the concrete. 50 floor has yet to honor their "one year workmanship guarantee" and has had no explanation for a lack of barrier in place. Was it due to lack of employee training, laziness, cutting corners on cost? They have no explanation. We have plenty of photo and video evidence of the patchy scarce pieces that were thrown down, as well as a letter from an independent contracting group that confirms the damage is due to a missing vapor barrier, and yet they have not acknowledged their mistake or committed to installing our floor properly. We are left without flooring in half of our home due to their careless installation practices, only months after paying for whole home flooring installation. The national manager, Dana Mason, suggested that we contact our insurance to cover their damage, but our insurance has refused to cover damage that they agree is caused by poor workmanship. To say this is devastating for our family and our home is an understatement. 50 floor installed flooring in my home over 2 weeks ago, and they ran out of supplies. The installer stated he had the remaining supplies at his home and would leave and go them, to return and finish my installation. When he did not return, I called the office and was told someone would get in contact with me, now that was 2 weeks ago. I called again today 6/6/24, the woman who answered the phone put me on hold to get the sales manager. She came back to the phone and stated Kevin had not answered, however, she left him a voice message for him call me. Note: This is second call in which Kevin was supposed to call me. I am completely disturbed that all of this is going on, especially when this company has been paid in full - note: which they require before starting, (how convenient for them). read more

Sale guy was horrible. He was very disorganized. He was just rude because I wouldn't pay his prices. For basic carpet under 1000sq ft was going to be 7000. He said it was 6 dollars a square ft. he came down to 5400 I still wasn't happy. He said 4000 and if I didn't take that offer I shouldn't bother wasting anyone else time coming out. He said carpet is 60 percent off and his math was way off! I would never give this guy a sale even if it was the best offer. He said he was doing this a long time ... he said two years! We had the flooring replaced in our basement with LVP. The installation went great, but some closet doors needed to be hung afterwards. I contacted my salesperson (Stephanie Ramsey) thinking the company might have a handyman that could help me out. Stephanie contacted a personal friend who made a special trip to my house to hang the doors. Stephanie went above and beyond the normal call of duty to help out her customer. We are so pleased with our new flooring and carpet. 50 Floor did an awesome job. Brent was our salesman and he explained everything to us and was very honest with us. He was very accommodating by showing us samples and answering our questions.Everything he told us about the installers was true, they were awesome. I had doubts about vinyl flooring at first until he explained to us about the safety of "no smell or VOC's" . Also, Brent explained to us the durability of the product and that sold me.
