Turkey bacon egg and cheese sandwich after I broke the yolk

Yay for the new location closer to Bellevue. Tip: enter from the turn-in to Thornton's then a left into 51st Deli's lot. I love it that they have a gluten-free bread option, 8th and roast coffee, lattes, cortados, and chai + matcha options, smoothies, and almost every deli sandwich option you can imagine plus some tacos and other selections. Be aware the drive-thru is not a traditional drive-thru with a speaker. Rather you place your order online and then by the time you get there they have it ready for you at the window. The only thing that I was a little bit disappointed in during my last 5-6 visits to them is that I was really looking forward to a wrap made with falafel and I didn't think the falafel was all that great. It was fine though just not as great as I hoped. Otherwise!: between their breakfast and lunch options, smoothies, lattes, and variety of juices and canned drinks, fresh cut fruit, salad bar type option, myriad desserts inside, friendly service, and diverse clientele and staff, this has quickly become a favorite.

I love 51st Deli! You seriously can't go wrong with anything here -- the burrito, açaí bowl, and breakfast sandwich are all so good. The staff are super friendly and it's such a convenient spot. Definitely one of my go-to local favorites!

Overall, coffee itself was mediocre! I ordered the blueberry crumble latte w oat milk and it had a weird after taste. My friend ordered the hummingbird latte & it was good but all her syrup was on the bottom & tough to mix! Would try again and stick to a classic vanilla latte to see if that ups their game.

I wanna give context that this was my go-to spot to grab coffee and do personal work. That said, the shop inside feels unique, with the tall ceilings and indoor + outdoor seating. Feels very spacious and a great spot to do work if you were interested. Note that the parking lot is extremely small, so that's the one downside if you were planning to stay for awhile or even place an order during rush hour. Lastly, during the time I visited and lived there, there were new hires that I felt could've been more accommodating. One con I picked up on, was that the select individuals would automatically select "20% tip" on my coffee order each time I visited. (which pushed me from wanting to come back since I'm not one to call this out but definitely was a small thing I noticed.) All in all, I would recommend checking out their spot should you be around the area or were curious.

Tables are lined with checkered tablecloths and bright colors. A large patio offers outdoor seating as well. There are two parts to Picnic Cafe. One side is a cafe where you can sit down and enjoy a meal or order one to go. The other side has cases of prepared foods and some food gift items. They have the largest variety of options of any of the restaurants like this in the area. All of the food here has been very good too. I love their chicken salad, tuna salad, and egg salad. The cucumber cream cheese sandwich is simple and delicious. The cranberry, lime, and apricot salads offer a fun treat with the meal. The Apricot Salad is my very favorite item here, but they recently had to switch to orange. They have a nice variety of drinks. They have lemonade, unsweetened tea, sweet tea, and several flavors of brewed coffee. The takeout area offers food that tastes just like home cooked food. The Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, and Sweet Potatoes with brown sugar topping are musts for me. The take home items are priced fairly. The rolls were okay, but I wouldn't buy them again. Picnic Cafe is a true gem. I really look forward to coming here!

Located in the heart of Belle Meade, it pulls the appetite of wealthy, old white women; however, the entire experience was lackluster. As this was our first time, we grabbed a menu located at the front counter and glanced across their listing of lunch options. The cashier was very cold and greeted us by saying "Are you ready?" with a sigh. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich with fruit and a muffin! We also got a few desserts and snacks to share. She seemed very hostile and unwelcoming during our entire ordering process. The interior is cutely decorated with blue, white, and yellow southern decor. The inside felt charming and quaint. Since we came at lunch time on a Saturday, there was only one table left, and the tables felt very close together. My sandwich arrived quickly on store-bought white bread and deli ham. The fruit cup was fresh but had a large leaf of decorative greens in the bottom. The muffin was yummy and large. Overall, my food was good and tasted very well; however, it did not seem to be anything special. For two people to eat lunch here it cost $70, which for mediocre food, poor service, and a busy atmosphere seemed to be not worth it. I probably would not go back, but it is a super cute find in Nashville and made for an enjoyable and unique lunch date with family.

He personally told everyone to have a great day on their way out, which made the whole place feel welcoming and intentional. The restaurant was very clean -- and I mean actually clean. The floors didn't have that weird oily or sticky feeling that some restaurants have. Everything, including the drink dispenser, was spotless and working properly. I really appreciated that you can order face to face or through a kiosk. The kiosk option is especially nice for people who deal with anxiety. Just a tip -- if you order at the kiosk, you'll need to ask for your drink cups while you wait for your food. I ordered the Classic Burger combo, and it was hands down the best burger I've ever eaten. The bun was soft without being soggy, the burger itself was juicy and full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh. The burgers and fries are made to order, which really makes a difference. It was mildly busy, and it only took about 8 minutes for our two combo meals. The décor was super cute, with fun 1990s vibes that matched the Wayback theme perfectly. Overall, such a positive experience -- great food, great service, and a clean, welcoming environment. We'll definitely be back!
