The deadbolt was completely broken so he took that out and replaced it, and was able to just rekey the bottom lock. This lock was a replacement for a previously owned (10 years) Schlage. I changed those batteries every 2 years. I purchased the Encore in mid January 2025 and received a battery alert while out of town, the latter part of March. Not happy. Back to Nathan...He was punctual; actually early so he was waiting for me. Nathan assessed the situation and he was able to get me access to my home almost immediately! He swapped out my batteries, checked and cleaned the battery holder and then had me test it several times while locking and unlocking. Friendly voice answers and we set an appointment. Morning on the appointment, I get a reminder call for the appoint with an eta. He calls once more to says he's near and I can step out. I ended up changing the bottom lock as well as the top lock. I wanted a good quality lock. He installed the same lock that he uses at his property. Saving money is not number one when looking for good security. Then I paid him to fix the sliding glass doors. The owner also helped me with hurricane shutters that would not close. He explained that shaking them and moving slowly while holding the upper and lower part of the accordion shutter works best. The prices were reasonable and the value for service received was good.
