They also roast their beans here, so it's very cool to see that as well A few girlfriends and I sat outside on a beautiful Friday morning and enjoyed coffee and catching up. We ended up all getting one of the seasonal specials the spumoni (lavender honey latte) and we all really enjoyed our drink. They also have a wide variety of pastries from if you local spots including Marc Heu, which is awesome as going to the actual location can be a bit of a nightmare with long lines. The barista were all very friendly and were churning out orders quickly. There is some construction going on in the area right now so you do have to loop around a little bit which is a little confusing, but there is a huge parking lot with tons of available parking Another huge perk as it is also on the coffee compass pass - I'm already planning to go back tomorrow to use that BOGO deal :)

I can't be more thankful that they have dedicated customer parking only spots right out front because I would have skipped altogether if I couldn't find parking. Love that they have an accessible ramp, a spacious patio with some outdoor seating, really spacious indoor seating and clean bathrooms. Staff was friendly and despite the constant stream of new customers they were so fast and efficient in getting everything out quickly. Coffee was good, the chocolate chip cookie by Marc Heu was a bit disappointing though (that's not a Dogwood issue though) it just a want chocolate chip cookie-ing. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and dedicated parking is a win in my book. Also love that they partner with Sweet Renaissance for special drinks for the month.

We were given a description of the various cuts of meat which helped us decide what to try. My table ordered a domestic wagyu zabuton steak and a picanha steak. For sides we ordered the Caesar salad, grilled mushrooms and the tallow fries. The Caesar salad came out first. This dish set the bar high. It has a unique blend of herbs and spices adorning a bed of crunchy romaine and fried oysters that elevated this dish. Must try if you are in the mood for a salad. The steaks and sides came out next and were shareable. Between the two steaks the wagyu was the better choice. Melt in your mouth and seasoned to perfection. The picanha had great flavor but was definitely tough to cut. I'll just order the wagyu next time. The steaks come with a side of sauce. We ordered the chimichurri and llagua. I liked the chimichurri the best between these sauces. The mushrooms were marinated so well and had a rich umami flavor. The tallow fries were crispy and salty. I would get either of these sides again. We finished our dinner with the "burnt" cheesecake. Which featured strawberry rhubarb compote on top. Save room for this desert! It was so good! We went on a busy Saturday night and found parking in a nearby garage. They offer valet but we didn't notice it until we had already parked.
