I travel as a truck driver and many places I go I will sometimes need to find a vape shop near by. I googled vape shops for Carbondale, IL because I wanted to see if I could find a vcmt tank. Unfortunately they didn't have the vcmt but they had the Triforce tank which was on my wish list. I called the shop and asked them if they knew an honest taxi service to take to the shop. Well, this has never happened before, owner of the shop asked where I was located. I said, I'm a truck driver and at the Lowes store. He actually offered to give this vaper a ride over to his shop. In all of my days of going to different towns all over the country side, I have never had anyone offer to give me a ride. Customer service is a word that was created for Jason, the owner of 618 Vape. Jason is a cool dude. Walked into the store the other day with a friend of mine and we received a really warm welcome. She forgot her ID and Jason did say she had to have it when being in the store which wasn't a problem since we live just down the block. She came back and there wasn't an issue. I'm glad he asked since it shows he cares and wants to make sure he follows the law. I stuck around and had a great conversation with him and the other customers. He also helped my friend out by fixing a problem with her tank and coil and gave her a new coil free of charge. It was nice to see a business that caters to the needs of their customers. I don't get the rest of the negative comments to be honest since each time I have been there I have had the absolute best service. I didn't like the overall vibe of the store. The employees didn't go out of their way to talk to me, a new customer. When I had asked to try juices I was taken to the juice bar. I did not enjoy myself there one bit. I couldn't use my mod or my dripper. I had to use their mods and tanks. I personally hate using tanks. All tanks, no matter what, don't give as much favor as drippers. When I had asked if I could use my dripper I was flat out told no. Isn't the customer always right though? Shouldn't my specific gaping needs matter? I told the girl behind the counter that I hate using tanks and nothing was done to accommodate my needs. Jason is rude as hell. He doesn't care about his employees, customers, or anyone. He does not cater to his customers needs and if you ask to drip a juice he tells you pretty much NO. He just wants to make money. He won't do cloud comps because he said people that come to cloud comps are all young punk kids. Check out other Vape stores before going to this one. The best thing about it is the looks of the inside of the store that's it. On my visit some young punk kid with curly hair was working and looked like a sleeze bag. He didn't know anything about the products they were selling. He was rude and very unprofessional. You could find better employees at McDonald's read more

Probably one of the worst stores I've been in. That being said, the store looks nice. However, after showing that I was older than 18 to the owner, he proceeded to talk poorly about all of the other shops in the area for a solid 15-20 minutes. My personal belief is that if you don't have anything good to say, then you shouldn't say it. To continue, all of the juice they carry, in my opinion, is just hyped up juice that tastes bland and subtle. They might have an okay selection of MODs, but there wasn't anything in the case that made me want to buy it right then. Overall, this store is just another vape shop gone wrong. read more
