But to raise the premium SEVENTY FIVE percent without notification, letter, email, phone call or ANY consultation is simply outrageous. One fine morning they simply withdrew $300 from my bank. I called. I left messages. NO one could be bothered to return my calls. No one could be bothered to let me know there was an extended enrollment period. The policy is for a special needs child, under my guardianship. It's not as if I can just drop the policy. I called again and was given the unholy run-around. "Let me get your information and some history on the problem, so I can relay this to the next level". Did they relay anything? HELL no. I was on hold 5 different times and each new phone monster had to ask the same idiot questions. The result? "Oh it's too bad, you'll just have to live with it". BCBS, you're an abomination.

I emailed again on 9/2 and then called and left a message on 9/13. This is typical though. He was like this when I originally was signing up for healthcare insurance. On a separate time, I needed to update my address and gave it to him, turns out he didn't update it. I need to add dental insurance now and he just doesn't respond. He treats you like you aren't worth his time. My coverage has now lapsed because I have kept waiting on him to call or email back. Don't recommend. Find someone else unless you like being ignored.
