It was garlicky, pillowy, and delicious! When I got back to the resort (less a couple garlic knots), we popped open the pizza box and the salad. When I say that I have never seen such fresh lettuce in my life, I am not kidding. It was green and not full of big old chunks of lettuce ribs. It was PERFECT! The pizza was also perfect. Crust pillowy like the garlic knots. Perfect amount of greasy deliciousness. The SECOND time was a few days later when we called and ordered delivery. Same order as before with different toppings on the pizza. Our order taker was very pleasant despite us debating back and forth amongst ourselves the 10:30pm delivery time (it was 9:00pm at the time) and figuring out toppings. In fact, we also picked up a Papa John's pizza for our kids the same night, and that pizza was actually thicker than the "deep dish" from Mr. G's (I've included a photo for comparison). I ordered carryout, so I can't really comment on dine-in service, but the staff I interacted with were friendly and pickup was smooth. If you're just looking for pizza in Branson, this may work for you. But if you're specifically hoping for authentic Chicago-style deep dish, you may leave disappointed.
