The space is not very big (This used to be where SMoothie King was) but accomodating to folks who want to go in and grab a drink and hang out for a lil bit, then leave. I ordered my go-to black milk tea with herbal jelly, which they unfortunately do not have--but they offered Aiyu jelly as a substitute, and it was a pleasant surprise. Aiyu is a refreshing, amber-colored Taiwanese jelly made by gently rubbing the seeds of the awkeotsang fig in water, releasing natural pectin that sets into a light, delicate gel. Clean, cooling, and subtly fragrant, it worked beautifully in the drink. I also ordered an oolong milk tea with boba and pudding (excellent balance and texture) and an avocado smoothie--worth noting that the avocado smoothie is only available in small and medium sizes. Still creamy, fresh, and well made. To round things out, I ordered three custard-filled waffles, all made to order. They arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--crispy outside, soft inside, and generously filled. Service was friendly and efficient, the drinks were consistently well prepared, and the food was spot on. Highly recommend.

My mom's s'mores latte was good, but she did say it was a tad too sweet for her liking so if you're not into sweets maybe ask for less syrup. Bonus points to Rise N Grind though because I watched the barista use a mini torch to roast a marshmallow for my mom's drink. It was adorable and such a nice touch! I ordered one of their specialty iced coffees, the Chocolate Covered Banana. I'd normally avoid something like this because of the sugar, but it was surprisingly not overly sweet. That said, I didn't really taste much banana. The ordering setup is a bit unusual. You place food orders at one counter and coffee at another. The coffee came out quickly, but the Caesar wrap took over 20 minutes. It didn't seem especially busy in person, so they may have been juggling delivery orders. The kitchen is very small and appeared to have just one cook at the time. It's a family-run business, which is really sweet. It did seem like the owners' kids were working the counters, and they felt a bit inexperienced when it came to handling volume or order issues. On a nice day, it's a lovely spot to sit outside. In bad weather, though, takeout or delivery are really your only options. It's definitely on the pricier side. The Caesar wrap was over $15, and the coffee came to about $8 with tip, though both portions were quite large. I will say, the food is delicious. The wrap was honestly one of the best I've had. Freshly cooked warm chicken, just the right amount of dressing, fresh parmesan, crisp lettuce, all wrapped in a perfectly warmed wrap. I'll definitely be back, and I'm curious to see how they continue to grow and improve.
