This was my second visit; the first time, I had a pleasant experience with a female therapist who gave me a great massage, which is why I returned. My friend has been going there for over a year and has never had an issue with the other therapists, so this was a new and unusual experience for both of us. It would be hard to disagree, considering this is a place that reminds me of spas back in Asia. Undoubtably the prices skew somewhat higher, and while they offer credit cards as an option, the fee is almost never worth it. Cash is king and they will round up, because most items and with .99 (e.g. $49.99). What I would argue is the facility is nice enough to warn the slightly higher price and overall solid massage experience. First timers will be directed to a binder, with a breakdown of multiple massages at different prices, and for different lengths of time. I would recommend looking at their website, or doing a little bit of research prior to coming. Sometimes calling ahead of time will work, as the lady boss speaks good English and is able to set appointments based on preferences. Eventually, most folks will be directed to change in their locker rooms, which have showers, vanity mirrors, and personalized lockers. Surprisingly all of the lockers are out of order, which I suspect is a safety measure than a functionality issue. The men's locker room is spotless and offers multiple types of showers. However, none of the lockers are in use or are able to be used. While they do provide shorts and uniforms for people, they don't provide baskets or ways to hold the clothes. People basically have to carry it around. One of their best services is the foot massage. It's excellent and one of the better places in Chinatown to get it. Their massage chair is out in the open and is fancy enough to have a built-in sink for foot soaking and comfy enough cushion to lay flat for front and back. Additionally, they will eventually do a neck, shoulder, and back rub (over clothes + towel) and it remains one of their best valued options. The rooms are extremely clean. It's extremely professional the whole time. They offer back walking which is their version of a deep tissue massage. Unlike a lot of other Chinese massage places where it's questionable from a hygiene standpoint, there is no worry of this here. They offer full bottles of room temperature water for everyone and parking is a cinch. Ultimately one's experience varies with every masseuse, but the men that work here pull off a very good foot massage and that would be my biggest recommendation. 1 Star - Women Beware…read more My wife and I went to Diamond Foot Massage in Houston Chinatown expecting a relaxing couples massage, but instead had one of the most uncomfortable and violating experiences we've ever had. Before the massage even started, the receptionist aggressively pressured us to tip over 30% upfront before even getting the massage That alone felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional. We are a female couple and had specifically requested female masseuses both on the phone beforehand and again when we arrived due to previous bad experiences with male masseuses being too rough or inappropriate. While my wife was in the restroom, I was already undressed and on the massage table when the blonde receptionist came into the room asking questions about why we didn't want male masseuses. When I explained that my wife and I preferred female masseuses, she repeatedly said "Oh, you like women?" while acting strange. She then suddenly grabbed my breast multiple times very aggressively without consent it was extremely hard and I immediately was in shock and got up as I was still alone in the room with her and she was very aggressive.  As I tried to get dressed and leave, she kept insisting I "just wear a towel" and not fully get dressed. When my wife returned, I told her we needed to leave immediately. The receptionist then followed us out toward the stairs confronting and harassing us while we were trying to leave. When confronted about what she did, she dismissed it saying it "didn't mean anything" because she has a husband. I felt completely violated and sexually in harassed. The place may look nice inside, but it did not feel safe at all. If you are a woman or couple looking for a professional, relaxing massage experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.
