I had the pleasure to meet Lena & she's AWESOME!!! It's like she knows exactly where to press to release all my knots & tensions!!! lol I'll def be back when I'm in town for sure!!!! Highly recommended!!! ^^

Such great service!! The workers here work so hard they really understand the human body and work on making you feel your best when you leave. I love how they have a sauna for after both a dry and wet so you can relax after. I'm so happy I found this place. It's clean, friendly, great pricing. They give you a locker with a key for all your personal belongings. They have robes and sandals provided that you change into for your experience. They also have showers etx so you can bring change of clothes. It's better than a high end luxury spa where you pay top dollar for an "okay" experience. This is the place to be for the best relaxation and care your body needs. I highly recommend and I for sure plan to become a regular here now going forward :) you will love it!!!!

Came for a feet massage and the person who treated me did a nice job. However, there were too many loud conversations going on everywhere. The place had a dark, open concept. Dark to make you relax but the open concept without any music made it too easy to hear everyone. You can hear people discussing prices and massage options with their clients (Why wasn't it done at the front?), random employee conversations, personal phones ringing, etc. Not relaxing whatsoever! Before your massage, they provide you with a locker number and key which also had a pair of pj's and flip flops to change into. Since I only opted for the feet massage, I asked if I had to change and was told no. So I guess it all depends on how comfortable you are with changing. At the end, of course, it's recommended to tip in cash as the person who assisted you will be standing there waiting on it as you pay. Typical Asian massage place..

As we opened the door and entered, I was almost knocked over by the stench of mold and dampness. The man at the reception was not a bit bothered by it and acted like it didn't even exist! Don't know why I didn't turn around and ‍ for my life. But in I went. As soon as we got to the back, it seemed the smell magically vanished. They have lockers, a steam room and privacy where you can change. We changed into our robes and got ready for our $30 foot massage. It was a wonderful wonderful almost hour long massage. The masseuse was a bit rough and lacked bedside manners, not mean, just rough. Will def return but hopefully that smell has been handled . Good place to go for a 1st timer planning on making other friends discover it as well.

Big fish tank by the waiting area outside of locker rooms.

Updating review due to horrible service on 4/13/19. All the massage therapists we usually ask for are no longer there. The lady at front desk is probably owner or manager, as she has no customer service skills whatsoever- never a greeting or smile but always a grimace in her face. When we were checking out after our massages, we paid and tipped separately, based on our experience. One of my friends tipped a $5 and the woman (in her late 30s to early 40s) at front desk told my friend to tip at least $9. That is UNACCEPTABLE- tipping is based on SERVICE. We already paid full price for the massages, and owner does not decide what customer tips. We will never return or recommend anyone to this Happy Feet. You just lost a large group of frequent customers. Additionally, the entire facility was hot and humid today. Ladies locker room literally stinks! This Happy Feet Massage is in the plaza with Lee's Sandwiches on Bellaire. It's our go-to place for cheap feet and body massages. If you buy a punch card (good for 4 visits), it's $20 per feet massage and $40 for full body. With no card, it's $25 for feet and $45 for body. Once you check in, front desk will give you a key. With the key number, you go in the locker room and have access to a locker that has a set of ugly lounge shorts/robe and some flip flops. After changing out of your own clothes and into the short set, you walk out of the locker room into a wait area near the big fish tank. When they see you waiting, they'll come get you and lead to your massage chair or table. The experience and effects depend on the person doing the massage and their skills. Some are better than others, so if you like someone, ask for their name and request them next time. I like an older Chinese gentleman named David- he gives a good body massage with just the right pressure- not painful but not too soft. Their English may also be limited, so that can be a barrier for some. Probably the best part about this place is that steam room and sauna are included in the massages. After the massage, we drink some water and go sit in the steam room for a bit to sweat out toxins. Lastly, we wrap up in locker room with a quick shower (ladies locker room has two toilet stalls and two shower stalls). After shower and changing back into your own clothes, take the locker key with you back to the front desk, where you'll check ot and pay Don't forget to tip! I usually try to find my person and tip them before heading out to front desk to pay. Or, if you're paying by credit card, you can also tip at front desk when checking out. I just think handing cash to the person is more courteous as a sign of gratitude.

I'd come back again... the atmosphere was relaxing , locker area was small but well kept, the uniform is provided (a super light wrap top and short kimono pants) and the prices were super reasonable. Four is of us opted for the 60 min body massage and 30 min foot massage for $58, which includes dry and wet sauna. I really enjoyed it. Sam was a great massage therapist and he had a firm technique that really worked out the tight knots without making me flinch. Body massage was face down, uniform removed (big towel covered me) and massage was detailed and ended with warm towel wipe down. Then foot massage was in another room, wearing uniform and covered with a light blanket, face up, started with foot soaking while head, arms then legs and feet are massaged. It's more relaxing than other foot massages I've experienced.

Even though I have the basic membership, I've added on extra visits here and there. I've also used the free sessions they give out to Houston Marathon and Half Marathon finishers, which is such a cool perk if you run. They often have other cool perks pop up also! Every suite is clean, private, and stocked with everything you need. You've got towels, Bluetooth speakers, Tv for streaming. It's your own little space to reset. But the best part, hands down, is the cold eucalyptus towel in the mini fridge. Growing up, my mom always had eucalyptus around, candles, oils, sprays, you name it. I didn't get the hype as a kid, but now I totally understand. That scent is so calming. I usually grab the towel toward the end of my session, while I'm still sweating, and press it to my face or neck. It feels amazing. It's cool, refreshing, and the eucalyptus just hits. Super soothing. Sometimes I stay in the sauna the full 45 mins. Other times, I jump in the cold plunge midway through for a little contrast therapy. Either way, I leave feeling clear, relaxed, and recharged. The staff is always nice, and the vibe is calm and easy. No pressure, no weird energy. Just a solid place to take care of yourself. Highly recommend checking it out. The full body scrub and mud mask we received left us feeling cleaner than ever before. The therapists very excitedly showed us how much dead skin was coming off our bodies. While my wife's therapist was a trainee who wasn't as vigorous with her scrubbing as mine was, both were still very thorough and attentive to every inch of our skin. This is a great place to do either. The first hour and a half in the men's area rotating between the steam room, sauna hot tub and cold plunge, losing track of the time and just soaking it. The sauna and the steam room each held around 5 to 7 people, respectively. Fortunately I didn't need to push the capacity limits since the crowd was extremely light, especially for for a weekend. I strolled around and checked out the other rooms and the bulgama room was scorching hot, in the best possible way. Broken up into two different dome spaces - one hot and the other extremely hot with a fireplace- that had the cozy smell of burning wood. A fantastic sensory experience. I popped by the restaurant and the Bulgogi stew was delicious. Prices were comparable to being outside of the spa, and the quality was just as good. The food came out piping hot with a little kimchi and some potatoes and a small bowl of rice on the side. I have been to more than a handful of Korean Spas and the features that make this one stand out are: Clean smells- sounds strange to have to say this but Gangnam was clean but didn't smell like cleaning products. Each space had a unique scent based on the desired effect - cedar, burning wood, eucalyptus, etc. Comfortable uniforms - woven, soft terry cloth sets that breathed well and were easy to move in. Unique experiences in small niches- hand spa to massage your hands, foot spa with a pebble bottomed pool, plenty of lounge spaces, vibrating plates for muscle activation or relaxation, I honestly didn't have time to do it all. The staff = top notch. Friendly front desk crew gave a great first impression. The superstar was the gal who helped me decide on a tasty dish in the restaurant, providing great descriptions for all of the choices. After 4 full hours, I needed to go to my next meeting and had to leave. Nevertheless I left feeling relaxed and satisfied. Verdict: Check it out but be sure to give yourself at least 4 hours.

And this is why the rating drops to THREE STARS However, the spa's current approach to cell phone use raises serious privacy and safety concerns. Multiple guests were openly using their phones in treatment areas and even inside the locker rooms -- including taking photos and videos in spaces where individuals are undressed. Locker rooms are universally recognized as places where people have a reasonable expectation of privacy, and recording in these areas can violate that expectation, regardless of intent. Allowing phones in environments where guests are changing creates a real risk of non‑consensual photography or video, which can have legal implications and exposes patrons to harm. Businesses that operate locker rooms and similar facilities typically have a duty of care to protect guests from exactly this type of privacy intrusion. I strongly encourage the spa to implement and enforce a comprehensive no‑phone policy throughout all treatment and locker room areas. A spa should be a place where guests feel safe, respected, and able to relax without worrying about being filmed or photographed in private spaces. PLEASE KEEP this SPA classy, with privacy rules and keep the ghetto out the door!

The company actually has multiple locations all across the United States but this is their first Houston location. Inside they have a total of 8 suites with room 3 being their largest and fit for ADA accommodation. Each private room has a spacious glass sided sauna with temperature and time control, towels, and a TV. Temperature settings go up to 175F but I personally like to leave it around 165F. Sessions last for 40 minutes, controlled by the guest. Red light therapy is included with every session for free which is a nice addition since many studios charge for this as an add-on. Chromotherapy (colored lights) is also included for free. While the TV is available, it is limited to a few preset generic company meditation or jazz music videos unless you have a membership, when they will let you change it to a streaming service. My room was very clean and the sauna itself felt large, enough to easily spread out. Sounds like a great experience, right? Why three stars then? There are no showers or changing facilities. There is only one unisex restroom for the entire studio with absolutely no counter space. After profusely sweating for close to an hour, there is nothing better than a cold shower and clean, dry set of clothes but unfortunately this is not possible. Sure, guests could easily change in their own private sauna room, at least into some fresh clothes, but this is really a downfall of the studio. A couple of operational notes: a water bottle refilling station is available at the front (definitely bring a large bottle!), parking is free in the attached garage however be sure to register your car with the QRC and use the promo code to get free parking. I imagine that they would quickly ticket and/or tow. Scheduling online is super easy through their website. Finally, their membership rates are lower (just $79 for 4 visits a month) than some of the other sauna studios that I have seen in the area so that is definitely a draw if you're willing to drive home sweaty. New guests can try a session for just $20. Overall, sauna studios are an experience that I really enjoy so I might consider purchasing a very basic membership since it is pretty inexpensive, can easily be paused, and credits roll over month to month, however I am definitely disappointed in the lack of showers and changing facilities.

Sad to say, but I haven't quite used all the sessions since. They do roll over, but I believe 2 earned in that month expire every 90 days. You can also pause membership for about 2 months if you need to use up your sessions if you plan to cancel. You lose it if you don't use it. I like the idea of the private rooms with a glass-framed sauna. You can watch Netflix or other streaming or listen to meditative/relaxing music to pass the 40 minutes. They never rush you, even if you may be running late. In the room, you have the availability to change the temperature. Not sure what it goes up to, but I've seen 170 degrees. I usually do about 150-160 degrees. Sometimes mid 160s. Since it's infrared, it gets progressively hot. Your internal body temperature slowly builds up. You can also change the settings for relaxation, detox, energy, etc. There's a body, face and floor towel for you. At the end, there's a cool, wet eucalyptus face towel for you to cool off. Wear loose clothing after cause you'll continue to sweat after your session. It's recommended to hydrate prior plus have a small meal. I agree cause the heat can make you feel a little lightheaded. I bring a water bottle with me and sometimes fill it with Liquid IV. Drop your towels at the towel drop. The staff is friendly. You can book a session online or by phone. If you need to cancel, you have to call. There's a parking garage which you can park in using the code to get 2 free hours. You didn't always have to scan the QR code to pay, but that has since changed. I'm glad Perspire customers get free parking with the code. The hours are deceiving when you look on Yelp or do a Google search. They are actually open at 9 am on Saturday, not 8 am. Got there early once Saturday, and the door was still locked. If your session is at 9:05 am on the weekend, just know they open at 9 am. Weekdays you can start as early as 7 am and do evening ones past 8 pm. It's pretty relaxing. I've done it in the mornings and evenings. It does either boost your day or help you sleep at night. There's a bigger suite that could be used for couples, I think. Or maybe a mini ladies detox party for a small group of 3? Not sure how many can fit in it or if that's allowed, but it is bigger than the other 7 suits. They also sell some merch and juices. If you're into saunas, I recommend this infrared sauna. I use my apartment's gym, so this is nice to have. I like that it's less than 10 minutes from me. It's also great after a long day at work.
