Really great service and lowest prices in San Jose. Needed to get a dumpster to throw out some junk that I didn't need anymore. One of the representatives, Raymond, really helped me out. He told me everything I needed to know and helped me get a dumpster out to my house on the same day! It took them a few days to pick the box up but overall it was a great service provided by them. This place seemed great in the beginning like everyone else said. I asked them for receipts and they told me no problem. I ended up renting 3 boxes from them and now that I am trying to get receipts, they cannot produce them. They gave me 2, but one is useless because the weight is 0. I asked for the others and they told me that they do not have anything else. They tried to tell me, since I did not fill it and I had them pick it up early that I did not get a receipt for it. That is what the driver brought back and then that since I did not fill my box, they gave it to someone else. Basically, they double charged for one box. Now they refuse to give me my receipts to get my recycle refund from the city and they refuse to refund part of my money since they double charged for it. I kept pushing to just get my receipts as they promised. That is all I wanted. On top of that, they just hang up on me when I call and start talking to them. Oh, and first they told me that the manager does not speak to clients, now the girl that said that is the manager. They are a bunch of liars with the worst customer service and an extremely shady business practices. This place should be closed down. RIDICULOUS!!! Paid for 7 days. Box was delivered between 3 to 4pm, which was fine. However, on the due date, they picked the container up at 9am! We were not done loading and weren't able to finish planned work. We weren't on site when they picked up the container. When I called to express my dissatisfied, the operator told me that I should have told them I wanted to keep it longer. Pros: My husband decided on a Saturday morning that it was time to remove the dirt from a large area in our front yard I was hoping to garden. He wanted a dumpster delivered the following morning. I was doubtful that I would be able to find a company that was a) open on Saturday, b) willing to deliver on a Sunday, c) willing to do it with than 24 hours notice, and d) do it affordably. Additionally, we were only planning to dump really disgusting dirt that had served as litter box for the neighborhood cats for the last couple years, which didn't seem to fit into the categories that most companies listed on their websites. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when 7 Days Box answered their phone, gave me a reasonable quote, and agreed to come the next morning. The girl on the phone couldn't give me a time estimate but told me I could call first thing in the morning and they would give me a window. Cons: The next morning, I called for my time window...and called...and called...no one answered or returned my messages. After awhile, It became apparent that they are not open on Sundays! I began panicking that since the girl was clearly wrong about answering the phone on Sundays, maybe she was wrong about delivering on Sundays. In the end, they delivered the container after 11am. We also reaped the benefit of an extra couple of days because they don't pick up on Sundays. They showed up on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week. It was fine with us, since we got some extra yard work done, but I could also see it being a problem for someone else who needs their driveway back in a timely fashion. We ordered a 10 square foot container and received a 20. There was a spray painted line halfway up the sides showing where 10 ended. The driver instructed my husband that the line was the limit of what we paid for. I took some photos when we were done showing that our load did not exceed the line, just in case we had any trouble down the line, but my credit card was only billed the amount I was quoted. Last thing I will add is that in the course of them emailing me consent documents, I noticed that this is the same company as Lam Hauling, which is reviewed separately on Yelp, with some very worrisome reviews. There is even a review over on the Lam Hauling page which mentions further additional pseudonyms for this company. Every thing turned out OK for us in the end, but I would probably not choose to use them in the future. read more

Peter, the person who picked up my filled 10-yard trailer and deposited a new one this afternoon, did an excellent job. He called in advance to verify his arrival and to make sure the time would work for me. He also coordinated with the truck that picked up my filled trailer before depositing the new empty one. Navigating that huge box into my long narrow driveway off of a busy street was very challenging, but he managed it thoughtfully and carefully and did an impressive job getting the box all the way behind my gate. Finally, all his communications with me were clear and kind, which I really appreciated. The person who answered the phone to schedule the switch was also very helpful and did a good job of setting expectations for the job with me. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is that the person who dropped off the first trailer, on Saturday, was not a very clear communicator and seemed a bit overwhelmed and daunted by my annoying driveway, so there was an inconsistency in their service. We rented a 20 Yd. box for a one-day clean up project last weekend. They were fantastic! Not only did they call ahead to make sure they were delivering the box when we needed it, but they didn't pick it up until they absolutely had to in order to make it to the landfill before it closed! This allowed us as much time as was possible to complete our project. This project had lots of people involved and every 7 Days Box employee that we worked with was helpful to each and every one of us. Everyone at 7 Days Box was kind, courteous and considerate of our needs. We are planning another clean-up day and we will DEFINITELY be using 7 Days Box again. They are our ONE and ONLY choice! If i could give this company a -NEGATIVE STAR RATING I would . My husband is an independent contractor and remodels for a living. So he is constantly having to rent boxes for trash. He has used this company once before so decided to use it again. BAD IDEA he rented 2 of them one for 2 different locations. Well to begin with he had set up a drop off date to the 1st location and he asked for a medium size box and they delivered it to the WRONG LOCATION. So he called the company up and told them that they had made a mistake and that they need to pick that one up and take it to the correct location, because it was a residential area and the customer didn't want trash hanging out in their home. The person that was helping him was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL she tried blaming my husband and telling him that he was the one that requested the delivery to that location. and told him that they would not be able to have some one out to pick it up for 3 DAYS !! so he didn't want to argue with the lady and just told her that it was fine just leave it at that location he would just use this one 1 WEEK EARLIER THAN PLANNED. so he requested for them to bring a new one A.S.AP to the correct location she said ok we can take one in 3 DAYS UNLESS HE PAID AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $90 To get one delivered. He was tired of arguing so he said fine and OF COUSE THEY DROPPED IT OFF IN LESS THAN 1 HOUR THAT SAME DAY !!. When it was it was time to pick at the 1st location he called them on a wednesday to have it picked up on friday and they told him that no one wold be abel to go for 7DAYS he said absolutely not i need this out of here by friday the owner of the home would be having guest over that weekend and he needed his drive way clear. So ONCE AGAIN he was told they could rush delivery if he paid and additional pick up FEE. So he declined the additional fee but he was told that they would do their best to pick it up in the next 2days. So he also figured if it was taking 1 week to pick up the trash he would just schedule a pick up for the 2nd location for 1 week from today. since it was going to take long and he SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM "DO NOT PICK UP THE BOX AT THE 2ND LOCATION UNTIL 1WEEK FROM TODAY I STILL NEED IT ITS ONLY 1/2 FILLED". and what do they do of course they pick that one up first AND DONT PICK UPT THE ONE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO . They were supposed to bring a new one and AGAIN and let him fill it 1/2 way but its been 3 weeks now and no one calls him back or even refunded us part of the amount that we paid. Called the Lam Hauling/7 Days Box and they agreed to deliver a box for additional cost. Driver arrives and could not park the cart for 30 Min and was extremely rude when I tried to help. They were going to pick up same day but did not show up for three more days until I called them. They picked up the box and now are charging me over 2 times of the original agreement. This place is not worth to do business, they keep your credit card info, no invoice, contract, bad customer service. I order a debris box cost $395.00 however it was rain last week, so I told them is it OK to keep it longer so I can finish the job then the lady told me it is ok and call her back to pick up when I get done. Today, driver come pick up the box then I call the office to complaint, I ask her why you guy broke the promise, I request her to bring the box back so I can finish dumping or give me partial credit . I have used 7 days Box only once.However, I was surprised by the customer service they offer. The job they have done was awesome. I call to schedule a drop off for same day, they said they may not be able in such a short notice. The truck driver showed up within 2 hours of my call. Pick up was also that way, I gave a short notice and they showed up pretty soon on the same day I called. Loved having the 7 day dumpster and their willingness to bring out another one (40 years of accumulation). I didn't like that we waited all day Thursday for them to show and they didn't give us a courtesy call to let us know the driver broke down. Time is money and my daughter had to take the full day off unpaid, would have been nice for them to accommodate on the price due to their delay. The guy who delivered the dumpster was great and extremely knowledgeable. They did offer a very slight discount on the second one coming today, which is always helpful. THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER! One month after using their dumpster I received a call saying that we owed them an additional $95. They claim that the additional $95 was for 3 tires that were in our dumpster. I KNOW that we did not have tires in our dumpster but there is no way to prove it either way and THEY ARE THREATENING A LIEN ON THE HOUSE if it's not paid.
