This is a perfect organization to join if are new to town or just looking to network. The games were on Thursday nights. They started at 7 p.m. with another round starting up at 8 p.m. Sometimes there were double headers, which, I almost liked even more because it was like getting in extra practice time! I would say bring a big can of bug spray because I did get eaten alive during the games. The theme nights were so much fun! This year we kicked it off with superhero night, followed by PROM, Pirate and a Nautical themed night. You do get a pretty cool WAKA tee shirt for joining the leauge. After the games, a big lot of us head over to Neighbors to get some beers. Which is an added bonus because if your team dressed up the best on the theme nights, you could win pitchers of beer. I also like the mid season and end of season parties on the agenda too. All in all, 99.65% of the people are a bunch of big ole goofballs that like to have fun. Yeah, there are some people that are a little TOO hardcore about kickball and there are some people who don't show up (you have to have a min. about of players on the field to play) which can damper the party, but all in all the good sucker punches the bad in the face with awesome.
