The last time I went, which was this past weekend, they charged my friends and I $20 to get in. Plus paying for parking, which in my opinion is a little much. We brought alcoholic drinks (which we didn't mind paying for), but overall the cost is $60 to walk into an empty club. If they were cheaper/maybe got free parking, things would be a lot better. read more

I would give 0/5 stars if possible, as I did not have the chance to enter this establishment to experience its ambiance, drinks, or service. My friends and I had reserved a room here for our friend's birthday, and we were welcomed by a business that was closed with no notice. The reservations were made two weeks in advance, and we spoke on the phone to confirm more than once. We were thoroughly disappointed when we were greeted by a locked door and a porch with all the lights off. At minimum, we should have been informed that they would be closed for the evening. When we reached out on Instagram and called their number several times to inquire about what was going on, we were ignored. Do not plan on having a special event here, as you may be let down. Life happens and things come up, but common curtesy would elicit a phone call to those who have made reservations. I would not recommend visiting a business who cares so little for its patrons. read more

Made reservations for my birthday this past Saturday at The Golden Door. I had a small group and wanted to celebrate with everyone so I rented out their semi private room, The Glimmer Room. This place has so much personality! It's a perfect place for a girls night out and has tons of really cool photo ops. Everyone had a really great time and Tyler, our server was excellent! He made the experience so personable and friendly. Because we booked the space for 4 hours, we had a personalized drink menu which was so cool! Tatianna was so great in personalizing this experience in the booking process. She asked my interests and favorite song and ran with that in creating our menu. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend checking out this bar hidden in East Nashville. The drinks are super tasty and perfectly crafted, great service, and you can't beat the unique experience! read more

One of the coolest places I've ever been. When we pulled up in our Uber we were super confused at first because it just looks like a house. When we went in the bartenders were super nice. We were the first people there for our reservation so they gave us a tour of the entire place which was amazing. There is so much effort and detail put into the drinks and shots, they were all super unique. We also had the bartenders make us random shots because we couldn't decide what we wanted and they were amazing. 1000/10 recommend if you want a unique experience. read more

This place is a 25 dollar cover! No people in this place. No alcohol. A waste of time for a room. Mean staff. Do not go. Waste of time.

I have been here twice with friends. I have always heard good things, however my experience has been incredibly poor both times!!!! was here a few weeks ago and was overcharged for poorly made drinks. They were not worth the money. I got 2 drinks, one of them had almost no alcohol, the other one was about half full . When I told the bartender she was rude and would not give me a new drink. One bartender seemed high on cocaine and the other was just argumentative. The place had a cool stage but not worth my time and I will not be back.l!!! A friend of my told me that she was given several "free shots" but then charged for them???? Weird and rude! The bar was empty so that may be why. Also, I just didn't feel safe, a lot of "interesting" people there that solicited me for things I did not ask for. Go somewhere else. They also said it was wheelchair accessible but was not accommodating :/:/. read more

The Golden Door is amazing! Golden door is a must stop for your not so average bar! The house makes it have a home feel but also takes you out! Their covid protocols were phenomenal! From disinfecting, temperature checks, masks by patrons and staff! They have the most caring and kind staff! They have incredible drinks and always a fun time!!!! Not to mention their food is INCREDIBLE!!! The charcuterie board was so good and beautifully staged, and the baguettes were WONDERFUL! They have great music, and great local talent in every week from singer songwriters, to DJs- they take care of the groove! They also have karaoke which is always a blast!! The owner; Gaby was beyond incredible and her attentive staff made the experience better- Special shoutout to Andrea, Jen, and Tatiana for going above and beyond and make my groups experience great!!! It took 30 minutes to get a drink when there was about a total of 10 people in the entire bar. They were out of a ton of drinks on the menu and charged a tip percentage without informing the customer. Drinks were severely over priced for what they were as well. Only stars I'm giving is because it was a cool bar ,but I would not go back. There's too many other cute bars to go to in Nashville. read more

Unfortunately we had a really bad time here. We had the VIP room yet it still took 58 minutes to get our first drinks. It then took 35 minutes for the second drink. We couldn't find the waitress to close out so we had to walk out to the main area for our check. We were given an unitemized bill for $100 for 4 drinks. At this point we didn't have the energy to argue so we just signed it and left. In addition to all this the music selection wasn't great. They seem to be banking on their decor to keep people interested. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night but it was no fun. read more

This place has really cool decor and is definitely a unique environment, there's nothing else like it in Nashville! It was pretty quiet when we went and there is table service and a selection of really interesting cocktails available! However charging $12 for 1.5oz of well vodka in an out of the way part Tennessee is ridiculous, this isn't NYC read more

I wouldn't have minded and brushed it off but as it continued for everyone through both the experiences I gave up and realized they must just not want people there. We arrived an hour before our reservation, we were told we couldn't be let in early so walked around Walgreens. Finally the rest of our party arrives and we're told our 'new members' of the party need to wait and get temps checks/ ID check so we informed her no one had their ids taken and we're all under one reservation. She then proceeds to let us inside to immediately PUSH us out the door to get IDs taken and makes the "security" tell us we are too intoxicated to come inside. Let it be known we had not drank and shaking from the cold waiting to enter. We were told we couldn't speech to manger and could not enter simply because of judgement passed by an inappropriately dressed female worker. No mask was worn by this female the entire time. Horrible experience and I would never recommend, zero stars!!! read more

GREAT ATMOSPHERE!! It appears to be a cute quaint little East nashville house on the outside, and on the inside it's such a surprise! A feel good happy environment. They are renting the space out for the daytime. This would maybe be good for musicians looking to hold writing sessions or have band practice bc it appears they have a stage and microphones and sound equipment. Also has a big backyard that would be good for yoga classes, etc! Night time is when it comes alive though! All the lights and cool art on the walls makes for a fun and unique experience. The owner was extremely hospitable and nice! Overall a great experience. Can't wait to see more! read more
