The egg sandwiches were uneven. What i mean is the meats, brisket and bacon, we're both hot and cold, hard and soft. They're not an even bite in regards to texture or taste. It was just me, so I only got half a dozen donuts with a knife so I could taste them all! I tried: Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel, Maple Bacon, Toasted Coconut, Chai, and Fluffernuter. Let me start by saying the cake part of these donuts is just perfect. Not too dense, lightly crisp on the outside, and insanely fresh. The toppings might sound over the top, but they weren't. They were perfectly subtle to add a hint of flavor without a dose of diabetes. And the coffee- such unique lattes both in name and flavors. I went with Davy Joey's Locker with an extra shot of espresso. So good. Not overly sweet and not bitter at all. And then I just had to try the cute little pistachio cannoli. Shell was filled upon ordering, so the shell was nice and crispy. Now this was super sweet, but I haven't met a cannoli yet that wasn't! Barista was friendly & bubbly and patient when it took me some time to pick my 6 donuts. Basic tables and chairs with some bench seating along the window. As it turns out and amazing coincidence, I just wrote my 2 most eastern Yelp reviews in the state of MD. Never had one further east of these locations in MD like in Elkton, Ocean City, Salisbury, etc. I visited Rise N Grind Cafe on a Friday in September 2022. I was going up to Newark, DE to visit my parents for a night at a hotel for a mushroom festival in Kennett Township on that Saturday. I managed to get a parallel parking right in front of the store in the small downtown Rising Sun. I wifi at this cute coffee shop as I had some work on that Friday. I had a delicious coffee, and I think a tuna salad sandwich, which was delicious. The staff was friendly too, and they were efficient. I comfortably got my work done. Unfortunately, I didn't take a pic of my food, but I took pics of other aspects of the cafe itself. If I ever end up back in Rising Sun, I'd come back here!

I tried almost every store on the island and even a few in Annapolis without satisfying my tastes... until I found this amazing little truck! The cold brew has a rich, full body feel and the flavor is deep yet mellow. Perfect for sipping as you walk or drive in the warm months. The woman that took my order was delightfully welcoming. I can't believe I only stopped by on my last day! I will surely be back if I'm ever staying nearby or driving through because the convenience of the drive through style is fantastic. The wait might be long if the cars in front of you have a large or complicated order but if you're not in a hurry it is worth it. Not super walkable though based on the location.
