Walked in today to find the owner with his bare foot on the counter putting on a sock where people put their drinks to get lids and straws. He didn't clean the counter and went to go help a customer. By the time I was going to take a picture he had put it down. I told him he needs to clean that. Won't be going there and will advise people about it. read more

would not go here! most of their food is expired or about to expire....i had bought a slim Jim that was a year expired, along with other items that were 2 days away from expiring. I went back for a refund and im sure it was the main manger, couldn't really understand me nor did I understand him, told me to grab something else. i said no the whole shelf was expired, and wanted a refund and he didn't give me my full refund, he shorted me money. The service when coming to this particular 711 is pretty hit and miss. Usually the customer service is just okay and they won't even hand you the items they'll just put it on the counter. I once had one of the employees ask if I wanted a bag and then just tossed the bag on the counter and didn't bag it for me. That's literally your job. I've been coming here for years but have never been treated as a consistent guests. They lack respect towards many of their paying customers especially during the day. The night shift crew is a little nicer and more talkative but even still at times don't even make eye contact with you. I came here once and saw this (picture posted). I was disgusted and thankful I wasn't eating any hot dogs that day. I do love this 711 and it's my go to since it's so close. I just wish they would appreciate their customers a little more and be nicer towards them. I don't take to heat very well. Let's just say the "bitch" in me starts to get a little bit bolder and mundane things present themselves in a brighter more harsher light. So in saying, after I managed to get some great shots while fear of "the man" biting my ass, I remembered about the 7-Eleven in American Canyon. Large parking lot, conveniently off the main stretch in American Canyon and I was instantly gratified by my cherry slurpee purchase. Yes, the high heat and availability of 7-Elevens have been assuaging my cravings for this popular summer treat. Typical snack foods and a pretty long counter of soda fountain drinks. Cashier RIPPED OFF my wife for $5 of her change last night. They hung up on her when she called to ask about it. I went back in about 20 minutes after the purchase to straighten it out, but they said they don't remember giving the wrong change. I asked them to count the register to see if it was over, but they said only the manager (won't be there until the morning) can do that. I asked them to check the surveillance footage, but they said only the manager (still not there) can do that. I went in this morning and talked to the manager. The drawer was not over, so he won't give me the money. I asked him to check the surveillance, and he said someone has to come in tomorrow for him to review the footage. The manager actually had the audacity to say that maybe my wife put the other $5 in her pocket and lied about it! I won't be shopping at a store that rips off my wife and then calls her a liar. After asking around with some friends in the area, I learned that this is not an unusual situation for this particular convenience store. *Manager claims he will review the footage tomorrow and call me... Pretty terrible service. Ugly Bruh behind counter doesn't give a rats ass about customer service or you in general. Came by at 1:55 from a night shift to get a brew, which is obviously before California's lawful cutoff time for alcohol sales, and refused to sell me alcohol? He then tells me some bs that the cut off time is 1:50. Funny but not the other hundred times I've been there. So I thanked him for wasting my time when I could've made it to another 7 eleven down the street to get one. Really though what store does that? Horrible service! If I could put negative 1000 stars I would! I called to see if they had a whole pepperoni pizza so I could go in and get one and they man who answered said "I could not order over the phone" and hung up on me. I called him a second time and he told me the same thing without letting me finish and hung up on me again. So I called him a 3rd time because either way he was talking so fast I could not understand what he was telling me and proceeds to hang up a 3rd time. Really rude person! This is a review of the store located on American Canyon Rd and Highway 29. Yelp doesn't recognize its existence so I have to vent here. If I could give this place NO STAR I would. Unfortunately that's not an option. I went into this place to grab a couple of slurpies. The first flavor I tried came out like water so I picked a different one for my second cup. I asked the two morons behind the counter where I could dump out the first cup of watery mess so I could refill it with a frozen slurpie. First they acted like that didn't understand what I was saying to them. Then one of them told me to get another cup instead of dumping out the bad one. He took the cup that I didn't want and set it behind the counter. Then when he wrung me up I noticed he was charging me for three slurpies when I pointed this out he quickly changed the screen on the register to one that didn't show how many slupies I bought. Just a total of everything I bought. I argued the price with him. He said I was only being charged for two. I knew something wasn't right about this transaction so I told him I wanted to see the receipt. He had charged me for 3 slurpies. He refused to give me a refund or tell me how I could get a hold of the manager. This place is dishonest sneaky and corrupt. Don't go there. Unfortunately people don't check Yelp before they decide patronize convenience stores. read more
