I got a little angry with the parking situation in Bel Aire Plaza. I couldn't understand why it was so crazy in there at 2 PM on Monday afternoon. Then it hit me. Silly woman, you're going grocery shopping on December 23. Oops. It was pretty calm inside the Trader Joe's. I settled into my list of routine TJ items. I was so sad that every holiday treat I ran across was loaded with carbs which my doctor and nutritionist assure me will be lethal (to me). Then I sadly contemplated the hordes picking up said treats and wondered how long it would be before they too became diabetic. Yup, I'm definitely coming down with the holiday blues. However checking out the prices put me back in a jolly mood blended with savage price comparison. I paid homage to the passing of two buck chuck by having a hissy fit (now 3.49 how dare they!). No I did not buy the Chuck, it's bad enough when it's only two bucks. There's no need to torture yourself by paying $3.49 and then murdering your palate and getting a hangover to boot. I noticed the price of Bogle had fallen and decided I had to practice some quality control tasting. I had some leftover pasta at home and decided to indulge in a nostalgic bottle of D'aquini red Chianti; it's been about 20 years and I decided on a blast from the past evening. This is the cheap Chianti in the bulbous bottle with straw wrapped around. Magically, the horrid Chianti blends with jarred tomato sauce wiping each other out and creating a state of gratitude that you can no longer taste either. Trust me, this effect is real but experiencing it no more than once a decade is about right. Deciding that I'd gotten into enough trouble in the wine aisle, I wandered over to the chocolates trying to find the sugar free one but was stymied by nothing but holiday indulgences. I paused before the alleged healthier goats milk but scientifically rigorous research told me I'm still lactose intolerant and goats milk wouldn't help. Also the sugar content in the goats milk is still sky high and I could practically see my doctor and nutritionist shaking their heads in unison. Cursing my overly vivid imagination I decided I was going to Costco because they always have sugar free chocolate in stock. P.S. if per unfortunate chance you purchased this Chianti and are now stuck with an enormous quantity 1) it does improve on the second day but not enough and 2) just cook it into your pasta sauce.

Can't wait to try these amazing price for 5.99 and flavors for multiple tastes

This was an awesome visit to Trader Joe's. We were like in and out in 10 minutes came in exactly for the five items we needed and our cashier. Joshua was amazing and funny prompt service.

Joshua was great. Super friendly and had what we needed. We were in Napa and they had everything we needed for a quick run in for those few items. We love Trader Joe's and next-door is our other favorite another store but we love Trader Joe's easy and easy out.

Went to this Napa location where you can find items unavailable at our store in Fairfield. Here are some items: - Jumeokbap, a korean rice ball with plant-based bulgogi and vegetables. I just followed the instructions and was surprised at how delicious it was, and I had it for my lunch at work. - Kimbap, Korean tofu and vegetable seaweed rice roll, microwaved and great with wasabi and soy sauce. Will buy again. - Vegetables spring rolls which are filled with kale, edamame, mushrooms, and shredded tofu. We all know that, all the staff at traders Joe's are well- trained and provide excellent customer service.

This location seems the smallest store compared to others I've visited. Just a quick stop to get snacks for the trip back to Los Angeles on the way to Oakland airport. Friendly staff and store neatly and fully stocked shelves of goods.

Charcuterie I'm choosing between Spanish and Italian.

This is a smaller location and it's fine. I came here for a bottle of wine and some meats to go with the cheeses that I bought at Oxbow Market. I found my meat and wine. They didn't have the refrigerated wine section that I can find at other locations. Also, I was looking for a wine and they were out of it. They'll reorder, however, I won't be in the area because I'm leaving tomorrow. But the people who work there are very nice and I appreciated the woman who asked me about the wine I was looking for and am glad that she got back to me. That was some great customer service, even if her answer was disappointing.

Staff is very friendly & store very clean. This store has a big variety of flowers which was what we were looking for. Flowers looked beautiful & not at all wilted. Parking lot here sucks but I parked by Target to make it easier.

They have NO options for flavors of turkey, just the one that is like roast chicken, and only dutch crunch or Hoagie for rolls according to the employee who took my order which seems wierd. They have a whole bakery but only 2 types of rolls at the deli? I never caught the name of the employee who took my phone order, pretty sure it was a guy. The first time I called, the deli picked up the phone and left it on the counter without greeting me at all. I heard someone laughing and talking to a Danielle, then they hung up on me without saying a word. I had to call back and tell the customer service person(Elle?), who then went and told them to pick up before transferring a second time. When I arrived for pick up, I waited a minute in line before asking a passing employee behind the counter if they had my order ready. He asked the guy and gal standing around laughing behind the pizza bar if they knew about a phone order. They did not. He asked me who took the order but did not ask my name or check the fridge where they typically put sandwiches made ahead of time, just went to get a supervisor when I did not know who took my order. As the supervisor comes out and again asks me who took my order(shouldn't the employee who grabbed you have told you I already said I did not know?) One of the young ladies actively making sandwiches went into the fridge, pulled out my sandwich which had my name on it, and gave it to me. I paid and left because I was in a rush and now wasted several minutes for no reason. When I finally open the sandwich it is missing multiple ingredients I asked for and the tomato slices are SO thin you could literally see through them. The joker that sliced them on the machine literally set it for less than a 1/4inch thickness which is painfully stingy. The sandwich was not worth the 12bucks they charged and the service was downright clownish with it's disorganization. If you want a sandwich, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. If you want a great one, go to brown's valley market on the opposite side of town by first st, at least they have multiple choices for meat, bread, and veggies. Store was clean but there were too many employees visibly goofing off on the floor and not communicating with each other about work.

You'll spend a little more, but the shopping experience is more curated and atmospheric, and the products speak for themselves. I stopped in recently while on a short trip to Sonoma, specifically for salsa, some kind of dip or spread for crackers, and a cheese or two. I spent awhile browsing because that's the best part, and left with exactly what I needed (proud and amazed I stuck to my budget haha). I bought a fantastic bleu cheese, brie, a cantina style salsa, and this whipped, layered, tomato-basil dip made of ground almonds, avocado, sour cream, tomatoes, and herbs. Kind of a lot going on, but it was so good. It's always fun to see what you'll find here. And unlike Target, they've made a considerable investment in their beer, wine, and liquor selection. They even offer a 30% off discount on wine if you buy six bottles, which I've never seen. It's obviously a focus item for them because it is stacked throughout the store. The only problem is that their prices are so high that it forces you into a six pack. You'll find all the items you would expect to find in your usual large grocer, including pharmaceuticals, but no pharmacy. Here you can also buy rotisserie chickens and tri-tip ($10-$20). You can also find bagged ice and propane tanks to rent. I'm a little disappointed by many of these one star slappers because they're being shortsighted on a personal small thing or detail while overlooking the larger picture. Whatever small things this store gets wrong are easily outweighed by what it gets right. The photos included should convince you of that.
