Another thing that's changed since the 90's, a lot of tap rooms gotten a bit... unrelaxing, as a certain percentage of young parents basically turn their children loose to run about unsupervised (hence my characterization "romper room"). My go-to is the Haraz Latte. Iced. While this could never be my every day coffee, it is something I really enjoy and treat myself to when I'm able to go to a Haraz. As someone who doesn't proclaim to like cheesecake, their Biscoff cheesecake is the exception. Maybe it's a blessing that one isn't close by and I can only indulge every now and then. If you want a break from your regular coffee, give Haraz a shot. Especially when the summer heat kicks in - the iced coffee + cardamom is pretty great.
