The vibes at this place are immaculate Our family has donuts every Sunday and had started to feel pretty burnt out with our options. This is THE BEST donut shop we've been to in a very long time. The donut and coffee selection is very impressive, to say the least. They also have breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos, smoothies, milkshakes. The list is long. We tried an apple fritter, a croissants sandwich, a bagel sandwich and breakfast tacos. We also got a lavender latte and an americano. Everything was made fresh and we were all very pleased. The decor is on point. Old cartoons play on silent with pleasant soft music playing at exactly the right volume. The team is very pleasant seems very happy. It's also super clean. Oh! We were excited to try this cafe after seeing the strong reviews, but unfortunately our experience didn't match the hype. My husband and I ordered two iced vanilla lattes with almond milk, and both drinks were difficult to drink. The espresso tasted very burnt and overly acidic, and one latte was especially watered down due to having very little ice. We ended up throwing both away, which was disappointing after spending around $15. As people who genuinely love coffee and enjoy supporting local cafes, we don't expect perfection, but we do expect some consistency and care in preparation. Wonderful little "morning cafe" convenietly located in the same complex as nail salon, beauty spa, dominos and Soccer Pups, The owner is super nice and kind. We sometimes go there after our soccer practice. They seem to really care about the customer experience and the donuts are fresh. My favorites are their glazed donut holes and chocolate donut holes. Their blueberries donut is dense but very fruity flavor forward. They even have chunks of blueberries as well. They also have breakfast tacos but I have not tried it yet. I had the bacon, egg and cheese tacos. They were good and pretty filling. The tortilla is filled. I got an Americano and if you like for it to be strong, then you came to the right place, however my taste has changed and the coffee was a little bitter to me, but I added stevia and a cream and it cut the bitterness. The staff is polite and friendly. They even bring your food including coffee to your table after you order at the counter. I thought the service was pretty nice. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I should have sat outside this morning because the AC was cranking and I actually felt a little chilly. The cafe was clean and laid out nicely though. Is there anything better than a kolache straight from the oven in the morning? I don't know but it's pretty hard to beat that. Our work catered breakfast from here and didn't know this place was so close to where I live too! The kolaches are a decent size, super fluffy and very flavorful on the sausage. Being new to Austin, I don't have any friends yet and so for my birthday, I thought what better way to celebrate than by treating myself to a yummy breakfast donut! I was greeted by a very nice lady and gentleman (possibly the owners) when I first walked in. The choices of delicious looking pastries and donuts are endless! It was so hard to decide but I went with the blueberry donut and for checking in, I received a free donut so I also got a cinnamon glazed donut. Both were literally amazing! So fresh and soft. I stopped in to Morning Sunshine earlier today to grab a couple of croissant sandwiches for me and a friend. The owner (I'm assuming) was an absolute gem - so kind and sweet - and he took time it answer my questions. For my order I got a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant and a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. Just as other reviews stated, they were delicious. The croissant was buttery and crisp, the cheese melty, and the egg and meat flavorful and cooked perfectly. I was looking forward to trying one of their churro donuts, but they hadn't made any today so I'll definitely be back to try more of their pastries. The place is a really cute space with games like chess and a big connect four set along with comfy seating. I appreciated that the ladies bathroom was not only very clean and had a working baby changing station, but also there was a little seat near the toilet to safely hold a small child while you use the facilities yourself or attend to other children. If you've ever had to wrangle children in a bathroom, you know how hectic it can get so I love that they so thoughtfully added this touch to keep littles safe. As I left with my sandwiches in tow, the owner made sure to tell me to stay warm and have a good day and it was just such a sweet, lovely gesture.
