The prices for the gas for a very fair considering the surrounding area and the customer service was super friendly. I even needed a couple of hours to nap and the service attendant let me park outside to catch some Z's. I truly appreciate the quality of customer care here and I the sensitivity to travelers. Because of the kindness here, I should be able to make it back home in time for Thanksgiving! I truly enjoyed my experience here and recommend this stuff and it always pays to be nice.

They had only 2 restroom stalls for women, it was clean and pretty big. I'm just happy there wasn't a line. One of the workers was pressure washing, which made me feel like they actually cared about the place. It was pretty busy so the line for cashier was kind of long. Luckily, they had self checkouts. This helped out a lot. This location is the first one I had seen that has washers and dryers. Either that or never noticed it before, and we've gone cross country.

We stayed overnight in the parking lot of Love's Travel Stop. By the time we pulled over to call it a night parking was limited. We were left with only a couple of spots to pick and neither were really what we wanted only because of the people parked there. They look like they were up to no good. We were towing our teardrop trailer with our bikes mounted on. We slept in our teardrop trailer, crossing our fingers that a bad situation wouldn't arise. There were plenty of other people around that if anything happened it would get the attention of a lot of people. So we know this out of the business control so I didn't dock any points. Just be aware if you have to park here.

They have all flavors of gas including diesel. Since we stopped I might as well fill up this gas hog Suburban SUV. All the gas prices locally off this exit are the same, so no bargains. Maverick is just across the way with the same prices. Restrooms are super clean (at least the girl's side), and you can get any kinda road food you might imagine inside. We stopped for lunch at the Wendy's, mostly just cause I had a 2 for 1 coupon on some burgers. Lots of commercial truck traffic here so watch out where you're going.

After the second day, I had to venture out for meat and found myself at the Woodson Bridge Mini-mart & Deli asking a very smart, attentive young woman what was the most popular item ordered. She said emphatically, "Cheeseburger. Cheeseburgers are definitely what most people order here." She politely asked, "with everything?" I asked what everything meant, she responded: "mayonnaise, mustard, tomato, onion, pepperonicini, jalapenos," I said "YES!" probably too quickly and too loudly because, as I mentioned, I'd been at the Abbey and eating very simple, vegetarian fare. She brought it over and was incredibly sweet and kind and it was pretty much an OBSCENELY DELICIOUS burger, one of the best I've ever had. Yes, it came on the heels of deprivation, but still. This is very unprofessional and rude for her to come to our home and record them with her cell phone.
