But why is it everytime I go in there it seems like all the customers are on drugs? Rude staff (morning crew). They don't seem to know about 7-11 Rewards at this location. I got told "no ma'am" repeatedly when wanting to redeem their advertised offer. No explanation, just "no ma'am" over and over with a smirk on his face. Oh and, be careful, you don't get overcharged. Certain flavors of coffee are empty by 8:30 am on a daily basis. Several days this week... blueberry is empty. I brought this up to the cashier who didn't know and didn't care. That much was obvious by the annoyed look on her face when I asked her a question. There's literally only one cashier at this 7/11, a nice guy with glasses, who will ever heat up wings for you. Whenever I come they always say "there's no more" when I know damn well they can just heat some up bc I've come in right after one of them left before and got the nice guy, he heats the extra from the freezer up for me. Red, white, and blue are the colors of the US Flag, and red and white are the colors of a red velvet cupcake. I can't believe that 7-Eleven are selling red velvet cupcakes. With all the buzz and reviews on Yelp about these cupcakes, I decided to try it for myself, as I've been a long time fan of red velvet cake. I don't frequent 7-Eleven too often, but the last time I was at one I don't recall seeing a movie machine outside. This particular location offers movie rentals for only $1. 7-Eleven is becoming a one-stop shop. Anyway, I found the popular red velvet cupcakes and bought one, for a low cost of $1.49. This cupcake was pretty good but is no comparison to the well-known cupcakes at Sprinkles, Dots, and the like. However, for the price, this is a good treat. All in all, the red velvet cupcakes, the service, and the prices at this 7-Eleven are pretty good. I'm glad these cupcakes are sold in individual containers. Who would've thought, you could possibly enjoy your evening by renting a movie, buying some desserts, and snacks all at 7-Eleven. If I'm not mistaken, 7-Eleven is still open 24/7. read more

I stop for coffee in the morning. Basic drip, bring my own cup it's only a $1.29 and then I use the rewards program so it's a great deal but there are too many coffee grins in the coffee. As with others' reviews, my wife ran inside to get her cigs as the special was $6.82 per pack when getting 2. I was about to drive away & she tells me to stop as they overcharged her as the total was $16.75!! We went inside & said to the lady, you overcharged us. She then took the sign off the display & said you got .50 cents off! My wife was livid & said, "No, it's displayed @ the sale price & you attempted to defraud us". This must be the worst 7-Eleven location ever. I found them charging different prices than any other franchise location. The set of 1 L of Pepsi bottles are supposed to be $4.04 but they add there own price. The corporate headquarters needs to look into this location ask for Vinny I went back to this location on 3/13/2019 10:40 am only to find out this 711 set there own prices. They inflate the prices on items and add whatever extra they want on the price even if it says $.99 they'll charge $1.29. Someone from the 711 corporate store needs to investigate ASAP. read more

At night this 7-Eleven is probably the safest place to be in Eagle Rock, as there is almost always a squad car (or three) in the parking lot. Heat aside, expect your standard 7-Eleven setup. Rows of refrigerators filled with a myriad of items. Ice machine. ATM. Cigarettes. Condoms. Tooth paste. Redbox. Lotto tickets. Everything is of course overpriced, but that's the 7-Eleven way. Open 24 hrs but employees said they're closed. I just left this location and the employee said they were closed even though it says they're open 24hrs. I also mad an order on Yelp, which I showed to the employee and he said they ran out of what I ordered on Yelp. The employee was cleaning and had his headphones the whole time not paying attention to customers pulling up in the parking lot. Other customers came to the door and he told them they were closed. The parking lot is large, it's on a convenient corner and they have a Red Box!! They are hard to find around here. 7-11 has just about everything one might need from a mid-night snack to a mid-day treat to an early morning jump start. Not the newest, cleanest or friendliest convenience store, and they don't follow many of their corporate sales offers (banana pricing, for one) but they earn one bonus star for being... convenient. Ok, the previous reviewer who thinks this 7-Eleven is across from Fresh-n-Easy is confusing it with the 7-11 at Eagle Rock and El Paso, but that 7-Eleven is pretty good too, so it's all good... This 7-Eleven has my vote for the best 7-Eleven (and I've tried them all) for a few reasons: 1) They sell Nag Champa...yeah, the greatest incense known to man... 2) Their cocoa is THE BEST...it is not watered down, like some of the 7-Eleven competition. 3) The Sikh gentleman who works there with the white beard is so friendly and sweet, but never in an annoying or creepy way...he is literally the only overnight 7-Eleven guy I don't mind seeing when I look like hell. 4) Since it's sort of an out-of-the-way location, there are never huge lines of obnoxious drunk jocks. 5) They have splenda. 6) Once I bought a cake there, and it was excellent. If you are new to Los Angeles, and you are living on 7-Eleven sandwiches and coffee, because you haven't discovered L.A. burgers and Winchell's yet, then I recommend this 7-Eleven. read more

This 7 Eleven is really in need of getting restocked with many items especially in the afternoon! It seems like if you stop by anytime after 6:00 pm your out of luck with a lot things that they might normally carry in the morning. Everything we kept asking the salesclerk if they had on certain items that they normally carry his answer was: Oh sorry whatever is there then that's all we have." Pretty good 7 Eleven, always clean and bright. I just don't like their Hot Choco and French vanilla dispenser, it seems it very seldom gets tended as the hot Choco tasted more like a chocolate flavored diluted dish water...gross. Other than that all else seems good, we'll stocked shelves and beverage fridge, having quite a few cops often in the parking probably on their break brings a sense of security as well. read more

This 7/11 is conveniently located across from Fresh & Easy, next to a laundry mat, a gas station and is nearby 2 other donut places if you don't like 7/11's donuts. Yes, you can occassionally see the po-po's grabbing food or arresting people there, hardcore midnight bicyclists gathering together to re-fuel, and hobo Bob hangs outside this place, but don't worry he is friendly. The staff are very nice here. I've lived here all thoughout my life and they are nice to chat with and are cool enough to let you off when you don't have enough change. Well, except for that one guy who used to be cashier for the graveyard shift. I don't see him anymore, but he was definitely high all the time and he asked if I was a boy when I had shorter hair. Unbelievably overpriced. Candy, beer, water etc is consistently 50% more than anywhere else. A Big Gulp is $0.79 at every other location but $1.49 here. I think they charge a little more to make up for the extra perks like a constantly sticky floor and the aroma of baby diarrhea that permeates the store. read more
