This store is a little sketchy, but overall the staff was friendly. It's cleaner than most 7-Elevens ive been too. I wouldn't go at night.

I often take an extra cup along out to share with a friend. This place is clean and perfect for someone wanting a quiet place to work or meet with a friend. The macarons are over-priced, but that's how macarons always are. I love that they often have gluten-free options, the flourless chocolate torte is astonishing with a hot latte.

It reminds me…read moreof the coffee shops and cafes you would find in upscale neighborhoods in Manhattan, N.Y. The building the shop is in, experienced a major renovation. The building sat empty for many years and was completely renovated. The interior is beautifully decorated and inviting. There are tables and chairs, and counters to sit and eat at and sofas for lounging. Customers can sit and browse the internet on their laptops and cellphones while enjoying a sandwich and coffee . The dining area and bathrooms are spotless. I tried a bagel and found it dense, not airy of light. The coffee is good. Most of their baked products are made in house. They offer bagels, pastries, cakes, breakfast and lunch sandwiches and more. Prices are slightly higher than other similar shops. However, the stores ambiance makes it worth the extra expense. The staff members are pleasant and friendly and service is quick. There is paid metered street parking available. A quarter will buy you an hour of time. This shop is very popular with the locals and especially with the high school students from the prestigious Mercersburg Academy. If your looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a cup of coffee, food and a place to meet with friends and family, this is the place. I recommend visiting this shop for a slightly elevated experience.

Denim Coffee in Chambersburg had been on my list to visit ever since it opened. I am just never in…read morethat area. I finally made it there recently when I met up with a friend. When I first entered this version of Denim Coffee, I was struck by how long it was and the lack of windows compared to the Carlisle and Harrisburg locations. As far as the product goes, same great coffee you get from their other locations. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk. I liked the latte, it was very smooth and the flavor of the coffee was really good. Denim offers other drinks like smoothies and kombucha but I always go for the coffee and cannot vouch for those. They also have a limited menu and some baked goods. Not a lot of vegan food options, if any, so I've never eaten anything from any of the Denim locations. Price wise, you're paying less for these excellent, locally roasted coffee drinks than you would at corporate coffee shops or the local shops you'd find in larger cities. Any time I'm in the vicinity of a Denim and looking for coffee, I make it a point to stop in.

It is thick and syrupy.. exactly how's it's described by the owner..not really the consistency I look for in my espresso. You can taste all the flavor notes..but it's BITTER. The barista was rude..when I asked for almond milk like it was stupid of me to ask..I didn't know my question was offensive? The shop on the inside looks like idk.. scary. The ceiling tiles are janky..the floors are stained and old..the seating area as you can tell from the pictures is nothing to be desired..at all. I couldn't tell you if they have a bathroom or not..I wasn't walking back that area to find out either. It's very inconsistent.., to how the espresso is prepared ( one place has a mod bar..this one actually had an espresso machine), to how they make the shop look. Oh and my favorite...no community support. No local artists, no business cards, no outside advertisement allowed in Denims shops. We were able to decide what to order before we made it to the counter. This is a popular place. What looked like a long line moved quickly. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a few breakfast sandwiches and a few beverages! Our directions were to stand aside for our beverages and then we could wait elsewhere, even outside on the patio for our food order. We were given a pager. The logistics of their system worked quite smoothly. Our chai tea latte and iced vanilla latte with cinnamon were on point! And our breakfast sandwiches (egg and cheese on sourdough & ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant) were freshly prepared and delicious! Yum! The menu is diverse and there's a dog-friendly patio where tables have umbrellas. This is a special place and you should definitely stop by when in Harper's Ferry.
