Still, there are plenty of snacks, canned/bottled drinks, and packaged foods to choose from. Outside there's even a garden-like seating area with tables for enjoying your food. Friendly, enthusiastic staff make this Petro-Mart a pleasant stop.

Yes, it is that good. I knew I was going to be in the area, so I held on to my grocery shopping list. I was going to be attending a pot-luck and needed the ingredients for my dish. I absolutely love their produce and fruit department, because everything is super fresh and well maintained. Also, the variety and selection of other pantry items, far exceeds a typical grocery store. They'll have a brand or offerings that you don't see at a local store. The lay-out is different from the majority of Dierbergs stores, so I was a little discombobulated while I shopped. Which was fine with me, because it let wander up and down aisles I may have not experienced. When I did need guidance, an associate working the floor got me back on track. Checking out, I avoided the self check-out and went for the full experience and had a cashier check me out. She was fast, efficient and personable as she rang my items out. I know it's not possible, but I wish all grocery stores were like this one.

They do partner with other local brands like city wide, clementines, ted drewes, and old vienna to name a few favorites. The deli is great but they close too early for my liking. If you make it early try the different sides if you pick up a rotisserie chicken. They do have butchers there to help you with fresh portions but be sure to ask if there is frozen variety just in case fresh won't work for your shopping trip. They have a wonderful gluten free section with pantry items like pancake mix to pasta but they also have a freezer section with desserts, entrees, and pizzas. The staff is always so friendly and they are disability friendly when hiring so that always makes me feel seen. The staff is always so friendly and helps me find what I need and help score deals on the mobile app. They can help you get a rug doctor too in case you need a deep clean at home. Besides finding local gems, the produce is always fresh and lasts a week or so in the fridge which is great in case you forget the lettuce in the bag behind your milk! The prices are great too and often run 2 for $5 deals and reduced prices for their branded products that stand up to the main brands. This place is very accessible so always a plus. I appreciate them for having mom, veteran, and first responder parking.

I'm taking out one star because I had come here on a mission to get their chicken wings from the bar a few weeks ago, but everything was cleared out and it was still pretty early in the day. I was really disappointed because it was all I was craving that day. Other than that they always have whatever I need. I will say that when they changed the price for a 10lb bag of potatoes to $10.99 they were psycho, but when I went back today, it was nice to see they brought it back down to $6.99. The second was that our cashier was PUZZLED. Very friendly gal, but she couldn't scan maybe 1/6 of our items and nobody would assist her. Staff members were just standing around but not helping. We just told her not to worry about those items. Overall, a good store, but needs more (helpful) employees.
