Stopping to get items on the top shelf. Other shopers helping other shoppers. Very twilight zone moment and overall Very impressed. I was there picking up those last minute items. Flowers, Food and Fireball. The parking lot was packed. The carts were almost gone and everything was being tossed into carts. The check out line was all the way down isle 15. It was a sight to behold. But believe it or not it actually was not horrible. There was a women calling out open lanes. We moved at a decent speed. I waited no more than 15 minutes. All the patrons were jovial to each other as they waited in line. Being the holiday and time of day I think helped people understand it was going to be an event. Great experience for how chaotic the day was. Great work Schnucks.

Employees are very helpful and usually friendly. The store is kept clean and even has a robot scanner that rooms the isles. Love that the deli offers Schnucks brand or Boars Head meats and cheeses. There is a fairly new area in the deli where you can order ahead then shop and pick up at the end, but I have to say I prefer getting a number and talking to an employee when getting food from the deli. My main concern at this location is the parking lot. I have had my car hit by carts twice now, and there is always tons of litter in the parking spots.

We were expecting severe storms today so lots of people were stocking up when the tornado sirens started earlier than expected. They announced that anyone who wanted to stay in the store should join the crew in the basement to be safe. They guided us all calmly to their basement/storage/employee break area with smiles, lots of snacks, bottled water, and even flowers for moms with their babies! They made sure everyone was comfortable and had a place to sit down. I felt so safe and so taken care of! Once we were cleared to go back upstairs, everyone was as helpful as ever and the crew even walked folks out to their cars with umbrellas in the pouring rain. If everyone treated each other like this team treated a bunch of strangers, the world would be a better place. Thank you to everyone who was working this afternoon for restoring my faith in humanity!
