I recently attended a conference and was given a gift debit card with a modest balance. I pass by 7-Eleven on Bishop St. on my way to the office, so thought of using it there to pick up breakfast. I had stopped by numerous times before but never purchased anything. Since I had some free money to spend, I tried their 7 Pack Bento at $10.89 plus tax. The bentos are all sold cold, so I heated it using our office microwave for about the recommended number of seconds. (You'll need to take into account the difference if you're not using a 1200W microwave.) It was filling and pretty good at an affordable price, even if I had to pay with my own money. For me the plus is that I can pick up a meal on the way to work in the early morning hours before most other places open. Since then, I've purchased, on separate occasions, their Maki Inari Combo Pack, Loco Moco Bento, Deluxe Breakfast Bento, Fried Rice Loco Moco, and Inari Sushi Pack, with some repeats. I was pleased with how the gravy for the loco moco tasted, as good or better than those at dedicated breakfast eateries. I've been satisfied with everything I tried so far, and the prices beat those available most anywhere else. My rating for the business is based on value for money and convenience, which is what 7-Eleven is all about. When I am not in a hurry, I may still opt for a full breakfast elsewhere for variety. Happy 46th anniversary!!! It's 7-Eleven day and it falls on my day off so what do I do...get my Slurpee!!! You know I'm there and since I had some errands in downtown and this location was just a few blocks away I convinced my bestie to go there are we almost turned around lol! Mind you I'm always working and to see the line snaked through every aisle in the store was a bit jaw dropping but I stood firm as I made it this far I decided to stand in line while I sent my bestie to the brain freezing treat in the back. Laughing as she called to asked me what flavor I decided on Strawberry as I didn't want the Blue Razz tongue and she got the classic Coke we were concerned that our Slurpee would melt before we get to the register. Among $1.49 Spam Musubi to entice the celebration which was hard to resist as we still had plans to explore downtown I decided on a small bag of chips since with purchase we got a free eco bag was something we just had to have. This 7-11 in Downtown along Bishop Street, next to the UPS Store must be the busiest as every time I pass by whether it's early morning, noontime, mid morning, or late afternoon, there's always a line. Now that doesn't mean the cashiers are slow. It's just that busy. This 7-11 is not the biggest, but it's definitely very well stocked and must have the largest variety of ready to eat and prepared foods. It's quite spacious and pretty clean for a Downtown business. The cashiers are quite efficient, so those long lines do move quickly. Also, it helps that most people just pay with a card. Obviously, this 7-11 is for the Downtown crowd. You wouldn't want to go out of your way to drive here as there's no parking anywhere nearby. 7-11 has stepped up its game with more and more variety of food. It's not just Spam Musubi! 7/27/23 this is definitely a convenient location. It can get pretty busy at 6:30am when all the downtown workers are coming through. They have a variety of foods, snacks and drinks. My faves are the spicy ahi roll, quinoa power bowl, loco moco fried rice. The prices have gone up recently. I remember paying $5 for the loco loco fried rice just a few months ago. Now it's almost $7. The overall place is clean. They are usually stocked well during the morning. The customer service is fairly efficient and friendly. They do have this one new worker, younger girl who does the register. Twice I've had her ring me up. No greeting, no smile no thank you at the end. She basically went through the entire check out transaction without saying a word. A smile and greeting would be the required minimum. read more

Aloha all the way! It's important to note that I felt extremely safe being at this location. Walking right in, the security guard working the night shift asked what I was looking for. No luck, it's too specific of an item & this is a condensed version of the chain of 7-11's however it excels in service where it may lack in selection. She didn't know where my order was...the other lady pointed and it was right up front. Easy peasy, right? NO! I only have two complaints about this location. Firstly, I suggest that 7-11 perform a financial audit and look into their cashiers for overcharging customers. This particular cashier, I was purposely overcharged by her a year ago and almost overcharged by the same cashier again. Like me, most people that work downtown are on the go. But I encourage everyone to ask for their receipts and be mindful that they may be purposely overcharged. Secondly, I suggest that 7-11 hire more security or hire new building management that practices basic respect for ALL customers that may or may not be dressed in business attire. Regarding my first suggestion, the first incident occurred in 2024 and I was charged for three items (reflected in my receipt) that I did NOT purchase. I did not notice the overcharge for these items because at the time, 7-11 did not have display screens at checkout and I purchased Japanese sandos with no price displayed on the shelf. The cashier claimed that the price was so high due to the Japanese sandos. I reviewed my receipt when I returned to my office, walked back to 7-11 and I pointed out the error. My credit card was refunded without question from the store clerks. However, they were all glaring at the cashier that processed my transaction. Please note, the overcharge was about $15.00. She used my credit card to purchase a bento and two energy drinks. My assumption is that this cashier steals consistently OR perhaps they all do. Hence, my suggestion. The second incident occurred this morning. I was almost overcharged for three iced coffee items that were on sale. When I questioned her and mentioned the sales price (which was displayed on the shelf) only then did she update the transaction with the sale amount. Regarding my second suggestion, a man was cleaning the windows (he wore a Cornerstone Property Management t-shirt) and he assaulted an African-American woman that entered the store. He claimed that she "slammed his door." I did not see or hear any slamming of doors so I'm confused as to why he was so angry. She was understandably upset and I hope she is doing alright. read more

Came here during a night at Scarlet for a pre-midnight snack. They were out of Slurpee lids so we asked at the front and they got some for us from the backstock. The offerings were a bit scarce since it was late, but got some sushi handrolls which hit the spot. Every so often when I am a little hungry (especially after I work out at the gym), I like to stop by the 7-Eleven for a quick snackie! Well on Sunday, after working out at 24 Hour Fitness, I stopped by this 7-Eleven on Bishop street, as it's just a few doors down from the 24 Hour Fitness, and it's just across the street from Tamarind Square. This particular 7-Eleven is the on the smaller side, but at least it has all the basics as far as drinks, coffee, shakes, & various food items. When I come here, it's mostly for their musubi's or coffee. The musubi's are pretty fresh, and for what you pay, and what you get............it's a pretty good bargain! I've been hooked on the Garlic Chicken Musubi ($2.49), but recently I've been hooked on the Tuna Salad/Cucumber Musubi ($1.49). The thing I like about the Tuna Salad/Cucumber musubi is that they keep the nori (seaweed) separate from the rice, and when you open it, you have to roll it yourself. I like that, as it keeps the nori crunchy when you bite into the musubi! Lookin' for a quick snack? Check out the 7-Eleven! I come to the 7-Eleven store every morning. They're very friendly. The store is very clean. Sometimes the homeless people cause a commotion, but the ladies running the store know how to handle it everytime. They always keep the creamer for the coffee.. they always give me free salad dressing for my salad and a fork. They always keep the refrigerator stocked with sandwiches and salads and they know how to keep the riffraff out. As a service to you all, I want to let you know that 7-Eleven had amazingly tasty pork tonkotsu ramen now for only $4.89! It features a gelatinized soup base so the noodles don't get soggy, a few slices of pork, menma (bamboo slices) and green onions. The directions say to microwave it for 120 seconds but I recommend longer because even after going through the industrial microwave, it was still cold. The broth is very, very good and is way better than any of the overpriced ramen stalls in Shirokiya. I even think it's better than some of the ramen shops around town. The downside is the small portion size and the sodium content. There is 2365mg of sodium in one bowl--99% of the recommended daily value! It's really salty. I had to add a bunch of hot water after I microwaved it because it was too salty to sip. Also, the pork is not the Japanese-style chasiu pork. Just regular sliced pork. But for a cold morning and as an alternative to their other awesome offering--chicken pho--it was great! read more

Some business vehicles do Street parking infront of this 7-11 behind the cross walk and throw their hazards on. Definitely not something I recommend just something I've seen. They have no parking, this is strictly a quick store to stop in while walking by. It's small and the selection is limited. It can be cramped with the amount of people that generally stop here. They have drink selections, both bottled and fountain, 7-Eleven staple food choices, put out fresh daily, fruits, snacks, some alcohol, and other items. The staff here is always friendly and helpful. At lunchtime they get through long lines of people quickly and with a smile. Their prices are typical, very reasonable for a meal or snack. read more

This 7-11 store is located on Bishop Street right across of Bishop Square. To me it is one of the smaller convenience stores of 7-11 Hawaii. The establishment is open 24 hours 7 days a week. Individuals working in the Downtown Honolulu area are able to pick up a quick bite to eat or even their much needed caffeine fix. Students from the nearby college are able to get their much needed necessities from here as well. People staying at the nearby Aston Hotel at Executive Center could shop for last minute items from this convenient store. I stepped foot into this establishment a few times. My most recent visit was to purchase a monthly adult bus pass. Cost of TheBus bus pass for adults is $60.00 and people can pay either cash or credit card for the bus pass. The employee was very friendly and she greeted me as soon as I approached the counter. Now I know of two different places that sells bus passes in Downtown Honolulu. At first glimpse while walking to 24 Hour Fitness in downtown Honolulu for a routine workout, I noticed that there was a 7-Eleven that opened up. I was like, 7-Eleven in downtown?! Due to Starbucks closing down at 7pm every night, 7-11 takes its place by having coffee for anyone who needs that spike of caffeine they need. This 7-11 location is quite large for the space they have. Clean and inviting. They have most of the stuff you would need.
