Always just one guy at the register, SOMETIMES two, but there's a pattern of this, where another employee is around the store but doesn't help. And why can't you serve yourself on the hot food like everyone else does?? Long line, one guy on register, and then he has to go put on gloves to get hot dogs for a customer! Checking out itself takes too long, nothing quick about it. 7-11 needs to take a page from other successful convenience store chains where convenience and speedy service is king! I drive the opposite direction a couple miles and go to Race Trac now instead of this one that's half a mile from me.

Fast check out, these employees know how to multi-task well. The cables are always working and it is relatively not busy of a location. The downside to this location are the hours. I came a couple of times where they were closed in the morning. That forces me to go to Walgreens across the street. It is well stocked and clean which is really nice and there are always plenty of things to look at. The employees at night are courteous and the manager is pretty cool. I saw them organizing tags which they change once a week according to the girl who works there. For the 5th star it would take more convenient hours. And if you are heading east on Tarrant Parkway it's kind of tough because the light at the intersection is red for a long time. That causes cars to be backed up and by the time you come out of the parking lot the light is red again. If you need to head North on Beach it's tough because you have to try and cut across 3 lanes on a short distance to get to the turn lane and people generally don't let you pull out. Heading out of the Beach entrance is tough as you can only make a right turn taking you south and and your forced to uturn to go north or to get to Tarrant. As you can imagine getting to this location is all that much easier.

And it's such a grimy location you're grabbing your hand sanitizer the moment you're back to your vehicle. I go here for exactly one product. 7-11 has their own in- store brand called 7 Select that has delicious teas and lemonades that are low on sugar and high on good flavor. Unfortunately not all 7-11 stores stock them. Why not??? Your name is on it. Again, why not??? I have been to significantly cleaner, nicer, friendlier, brighter 7-11s in DFW that stock other brands but not their own. Which leaves me occasionally popping into this somewhat trashy location. This store is gross but the beverage case is well stocked with plenty of great options.
