I usually come after school between 1-3pm. Ambiance: Lot's of wood, blue clues big comfy chair to feel like a king or totally vibe out and read a book. They ahve two tables in the hallway, a clouple of seats in the back and this place encourage you to bring your furry pets of dogs and or cats. Service: very friendly and very welcoming. when you order food they dont mind bringing it up to you when it is slow. Food and drinks: i had the everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese. Such a delight. Also a second time drinking a lavender latte which is made to perfection. They have lots of seats inside with outlets nearby and a nice semi-shaded patio. Wi-Fi is listed on their wall by their decorations. I would definitely come back here to study. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about this spot. There's plenty of space to sit and it's a great place to bring your laptop, get some work or studying done, and enjoy a coffee. My biggest complaint is the parking. It can be pretty difficult to find a spot, especially when they're busy, so I'd give yourself a little extra time for that. Other than the parking situation, I had a great experience. Good drinks, friendly service, a quick-moving line, and a really nice environment for studying or getting some work done. It wasn't super sweet, It does have a bit of a texture to it because they actually take the baklava filling and purée it. They also do Turkish coffee there and I am dying to check that out when it is winter time! I believe the desserts or most of the desserts are vegan! I did get the lemon loaf and it was fantastic, wasn't too sweet, It was the perfect ratio of lemon to poppyseed to cake. I also got their Chia parfait and it was fresh! They make everything in house! The turnout was excellent--during the lesson, the place was packed shoulder-to-shoulder, with dancers filling every available inch of floor space. Afterward, a live jazz band took the stage and kept the energy high. The night was genuinely fun, with swing in the air and a lively, nostalgic atmosphere. It did get quite warm inside, but a couple of fans helped keep the air circulating. On regular nights, I understand Coffee Note shifts to a more relaxed open jazz jam session--perfect for sitting at a table with a drink and soaking in the sounds of America's musical past. When I brought it to the owner's attention, instead of apologizing or trying to make it right, he came over with an awful attitude. I explained that the raspberries had mold on them, and his response was a rude, "What do you want?" I told him I didn't want anything. He simply shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Mistakes can happen, and I probably wouldn't have even left a review over the mold alone. But serving moldy food and then treating a customer that way when they politely bring it to your attention is completely unacceptable.
