However I would likely stay with half sweet for all the drinks next time since it was a tad sweet for my personal preference. However it doesn't come overly sweet! The drinks came come in these cute glasses with the perfect ice! The interior has plenty of tables, WiFi, outlets, and even played the World Cup on a projector. The music wasn't too loud or distracting, so this is a good place to do work, catch up with friends, or just hang out. There is also easy parking outside. The bathroom is also clean. Overall, this place is great! We are going to be loyal customers based on this first experience alone!

I continued waiting, and by the time I finally received my coffee, 17 minutes had passed. I was the only customer in the shop, and there were three employees working. For a single coffee, the lack of urgency and customer service was honestly surprising. The coffee itself was fine, but nothing memorable. In a city like Las Vegas, where there are incredible coffee shops on nearly every corner with friendly, welcoming staff, it's hard to justify coming back after an experience like this. If a business is open and still taking orders, customers should be acknowledged and served in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling more like an inconvenience than a customer. This was definitely a one-and-done visit for me.

I ordered the Turon Latte, which is banana & jackfruit. I couldn't really taste the banana & could taste the jackfruit when I got to the end of the latte. However, the coffee flavor part of my latte was good. My husband is a cold brew guy & ordered the cold brew. He said that it had a bitter after taste, but it wasn't bad. On a better note, the spot is really cute & clean & the staff is friendly & knowledgeable about the items they are selling. This place has potential & I am rooting for their success! It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.
