So I came to the store I overheard the clerk basically didn't I did this one guy that didn't have an ID. So when I come to the line, he asked me for my ID forcefully disrespectful whenever I told him you didn't just do that with the customer before me. He was very disrespectful. He didn't want to give me his correct name so I'm just take a picture so you guys can see for legal purposes. As you can see, he didn't want to show his face cause he was so ashamed.

Avoid - No parking, rude staff, rude customers just avoid plenty of other places around to get connivence items.

It's one of those spots that's worth the occasional splurge because the quality is just that good. The Spanish Latte is easily one of my favorites and a must-try if you're visiting for the first time. But if you know about the secret menu... sheeeesh. I'll have to gatekeep that one. Let's just say it's hands-down the best latte I've ever had. Perfect balance, amazing flavor notes, and one of those drinks that makes you stop and appreciate how good coffee can actually be. The atmosphere is just as great as the coffee. There are games to play, cozy corners to hang out in, and little hidden gems throughout the shop if you're paying attention. It's the kind of place where you can grab a drink and end up staying way longer than you planned. A true Venice classic and still one of the best coffee spots I've ever been to. Staff is amazing and just feels just a community, they make the experience feel incredible for just getting a coffee

The barista's are skilled and know how to pull proper lattes etc. Kudos also for the general good vibes from Masa and Christian who are often behind the counter serving up the finest brew. There's also a spacious sunny outdoor area for sitting, studying, catching up with friends. Last time I was there the Venice Fire Fighter crew was at the table next to us which was cute. Even though it's positioned right by the boardwalk, Menotti's is just as much of a local's spot as it is suited for visitors.

It is a thoughtful blend of the highest quality beverages with genuinely unique flavor offerings, paired with the charm of ordering from an impeccably kept Airstream that feels both nostalgic and intentional. I love their classic cappuccino, but the special menu is creatively unique, if you're into that. Interesting options like the Fig Leaf Cream Top Cold Brew and the Banana Cream Top Matcha Latte are truly delicious and beautifully balanced, without being a cloying sugar bomb. This has become a favorite quick and easy yet elevated activity with friends on a quintessential sunny Sunday in LA. Also the owner who is always there running the show is super kind and has clearly mastered barista artistry which adds to the overall experience. Saint Maxime takes pride in their powerfully compact business and it comes through with every sip.

Of course, it has been reno-ed so it is sanitary AND esthetic. The line "goes out the door" because there really isn't an "indoor". But not to worry, it won't be long before you make it to the front of the line and get to order your drink. I was ever so glad to see a "Nico" on the menu, but upon reading it, the "Scarlet" is what I ended up ordering.... and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. The roast they used is sufficiently strong. The spices were delicious. The location is a stone throws away from the end/beginning of Abbott Kinney. We were able to find a parking spot on the street nearby. There is no private parking lot. On a Saturday morning, it didn't take us long to find a spot. I'm not sure how it will be during the weekday. If you so need, there is a parking lot with meters a couple of blocks away. A "block" in this area is pretty short. The baristas know their regulars and are friendly to newbies like me.

The chicken oddly came as the first item even before our coffees so the chicken was getting cold in the table awaiting the rest of the food. We also tried the choco french toast, which I had high expectations for but honestly, something I could make at home. We found it somewhat overpriced, including the tipping when its a self serve cafe, and not much food for the value. The only absolute good thing was the pistachio latte. Because my lavender matcha didn't even have lavender, and felt like milk with a splash of matcha, I couldn't even finish it. Service was good and kind, but we will not be returning again
