Wolf's Liquor stays open late and I think they still deliver. The staff is super and knows where everything is so you don't have to search. They are friendly. The place is open until about midnight every night and it is right on Washington so you can't miss it. Parking is easy. I find the prices to be high on almost everything, but there some things I can't find elsewhere. They, for example have chips I like that I can't find at the market. They also have a great selection of bourbon, and some of their scotch is also not easy to find elsewhere. The place is safe, always clean and well stocked. They have a nice selection of candy, chips, nuts and other stuff so you don't have to go somewhere else. This is a really nice store and I think you will like it. read more

WOW! What a rip off joint this place is. We are having company, my husband bought a 750 ml bottle of Tito's vokda "on sale." $31.00!!!!!! The same bottle costs between $15 and $20 almost everywhere. Look. It's local, so you expect to pay a little more, but not a lot more. You can drive to the supermarkets, only 10 minutes away. Still, I get it, but nobody likes to feel taken advantage of. Both a delightful yet somewhat shameful, genuine jaunt into a true adult Candyland of all things vice and addictive: cancer sticks; booze; and an array of processed, sugary snacks and ice creams. If one manages to successfully avoid these hedonistic items and purchase an actual grocery or cleaning product (or something that won't destroy your health by next Tuesday), be prepared for some serious sticker shock. You are paying for convenience in the beach town that is Marina Del Rey and they know it! While there is an astounding absence of all things Lotto/ gambling, I am consoled with the knowledge that I will still be entering the game of playing "fast and loose" with my hard earned money! How? I scandalously just spent $7.50 for a box of corn flakes. Remember the old "buy one get one free" deal found in many stores? Well, I just bought the equivalent of "buy two and get one!" Still better odds than at a Vegas slot machine as I did make out with some product. . .I just really, really wanted the corn flakes and desperation (and the current zombie apocalypse that is COVID) does odd things to humans! The cashiers' constant attempts at conversation and affability often result in awkward cultural and/ or language gaps leaving me uncomfortable and squirming to escape (did he just say that to me?!) before one of the desperate, intoxicated regulars attempts to hit them up (or me) for another fifth of vodka and beef jerky. Regardless, I can't beat the convenience of this place, so Wolf's and I try and tolerate each other as best we can. Frankly, I limit my visits here in order to stay as far removed from the debauchery as possible and avoid that walk of shame back to my dwelling complete with the little black, opaque bag holding what is certain to be some type of cancer-causing - and certainly NOT vegan treat - like my beloved M&Ms! read more

KETTLE FOODS "SPICY THAI" It's $3.29 for a full sized bag, but it's a unique flavor that isn't often found in most stores that even carry the Kettle brand. I was trying to celebrate a nice evening with my boyfriend by stopping by the liquor store to get a bottle of Tito's vodka. I decided to be economical and picked up the 1.75L. When I got to the cashier, the owner (I presumed) seemed cheerful, however, I quickly realized he was mocking me. He said, "Hey Lady, seems like you're going to have a really fun night!" He then told me what I owed him, "Ok, that'll be $55... no $60 even." I don't know about you but that bottle of vodka typically runs about $30 give or take a few bucks. There was a line behind me and I was in a rush and didn't want to make a scene so I just handed him three $20 bills. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed that not only did he made me feel like an alcoholic, he cold-bloodedly ripped me off. As a customer who is literally supporting his business, I felt very wronged. Why did he do that to me? Was it because I was female? Was it because I am small? I am very disappointed. Needless to say, I will never return to that liquor store ever again. read more

What is amazing about this place is they are pretty friendly, the service is great, the selection is a lot and the name is cute! Wolf's liquor has been here it seems like for a really long time but don't quote me on that. I've seen it here for years and I come here often to just sometimes pick up some chips or a pack of gum but besides that they have lots of different types of alcohol. Be it wine, beer and everything else they do have quite a big selection of alcohol. So if you need to get your drink on and you don't really feel like going to a bar or a club. Might as well come and buy it and take it home ! :) Who doesn't like to lounge around at home sometimes? It is one of the best things to do. read more

I work right next to this liquor store from time to time and i enjoy stopping in. The people here are pretty friendly and have always been kind to me. They have that thing where if you use credit it has to be a 10 dollar minimum or they will charge you a certain amount, and usually if i go a little under it they don't really mind and don't charge me the extra. They hold a lot of items here; basically having what any normal liquor store should have. So if you are craving a certain type of snack or drink this is totally somewhere that you could stop into. read more

This is where I stop when I'm walking down to the beach. They have a good selection of cold drinks and many low sugar/sugar free options. It's hard to find Arizona diet iced green tea but they have it, and in a glass bottle (so much better than aluminum!). They also sell big bags of Pop Chips which are perfect for beach snackin'. Their magazine selection is lousy though. 50 cent charge for card purchases under $10, which is reasonable. I paid in $2 bills the last time I went here, and the owner told me I was going to have bad dreams for spending them. I laughed, but guess what... he was right. read more

I had the good fortune of meeting a VERY friendly guy at the register, who I think runs the place. My experience with him was awesome! And their prices are pretty reasonable considering how close they are to the beach. THIS is my neighborhood spot for quick soda, beer, chip runs. There's a $10 minimum for credit cards, which is mitigated by the fact that everything is very overpriced in this joint. $4 for a standard bag of chips, $7 for a small bag of trail mix...overall friendly service is a plus, but unless you're a tourist staying nearby without a car to drive to Ralph's, you're better off grabbing snacks and ethanol elsewhere. read more

The local beer stop! Love coming here for my wine needs. Wine selection and price is outdtandingly reasonable. Recent renovation of the store made it look ten times cleaner and more welcoming. Would recommend if you need a beer or wine fix near the beach. read more

Not sure why nobody has reported this store for bad billing practices. The guy tried to overcharge me and sneakily put the receipt in my bag. When I asked for an explanation he refused to give me a refund. The prices are super high, $3.99+tax for half a gallon milk is unheard off. Stay away if you don't want to get ripped off. The people there are the reason I go, friendliest around! It's been around here since forever and is very convenient for the people that live near. Huge selection of wine and snacks. The only bad side would be the 50 cent charge on your card if your purchase is under $10 which is reasonable, but they wont charge you without telling you first. read more
