You can also preorder whole cakes from them. The coffee is decent, but I find that $7 is a little steep for a latte that doesn't really stand out. I can sort of justify it by thinking that I'm also paying for the lovely space to work as well. The desserts are also a bit pricy, at around $10 per piece (and the pieces aren't huge). Coffee and Chai is a great spot for studying as there are lots of tables and it's quiet. Our barista today also turned out to be the owner of the cafe. Such a sweet, accommodating man!!
