We popped in today because we saw a billboard for Hoagiefest, where you can get a large sub, drink and Herr's potato chips for $8. Worth a try! The sandwiches were done quickly. The Pennsylvania based chips are tasty. The drink is fountain only. The sandwich... I think we have to be real with that part of the special menu. The pulled pork has not been in a smoker. The bacon is not crunchy. The Italian sub has never been near Italy. The pickled onions are not very flavorful. The sweet peppers are bland. See a theme here? However, the Wawa sub is better than the Wawa pizza which we tried once years back when it came out. Sorry, we are still not fans of the food at Wawa. Everything else about the place is great!
