Huge location but very very pricey. Big Snickers bars are $3.89. Lots of selection which is nice and staff is decent.

7 Eleven opened right across the street from me today on 7/11. With today being the grand opening and also National Free Slurpee Day, you would think this location would be more chaotic or busy, but everything went quickly and smoothly. Me being the forgetful person that I am, I went down to check out the newly opened store and forgot it was free slurpee day. To my surprise, there was someone handing out cups at the front door and along the line, caps and straws as well. The line moved quickly and there was an employee waiting at the end to fill your cup with requested flavors. I got the mango/lemonade and wild cherry - ah, the taste of my childhood. Their preparedness and efficiency surprised me in a good way and the store layout was great as well. Stocked with plenty of snacks, drinks, and other items you would expect out of a convenience store, it was brightly lit and even had a screen showing stock prices and the status of nearby subway lines, emphasizing that this store is for locals (stock ticker for financial district, genius :P) There is also a hot food section and area in the back with seating. Overall, nice to have a convenience store so close by in the neighborhood.

This 7-Eleven is brand new, lending to it being nice and clean! They have their usual variety of hot foods- from hot dogs to pizza, empanadas, and taquitos. There's also a wide selection of sodas and frozen foods. My only gripe is that they don't really have juices. I went in looking for any kind of juice (orange, apple, cranberry) and only saw Naked smoothie drinks. Weird. Staff is very friendly and oh yeah- slurpees!

    Got my lunch essentials. Lol

One of the nicest and cleanest 7-elevens I've ever been to. This will be my daily morning spot for coffee, redbull, munchies and cigs. Will be working 2 blocks away for the week.

    Coffee!!!

We had the raspberry tart and the milk cloud cake. Price points were very high, even for midtown pastries. I enjoyed the milk cloud cake because of the black tea infused cream really came through. The other bits in it were not as impressive--the small chocolate bits were dry and this viscous layer in it (tapioca?) lacked taste. The raspberry tart was very adorable with two macarons. The tart shell was a bit dry and crumbly, but if you like raspberry the flavor does come through in the filling. The staff weren't warm in any way, but we're in midtown which tends to be hectic, and we were there at the end of the day so it's not a dealbreaker or anything really egregious. The place isn't very spacious for seating, so unless you're coming at a time that isn't busy, you might not get a seat/I'd plan around getting your sweets to go. That was no problem for me this time around, though. Overall this place is cute, and if you're looking for an Asian-inspired treat in midtown before a broadway show (Wicked is nearby) this could be an option for you. I just wouldn't expect it to particularly standout in terms of price and quality.

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
