When I went to pay, I asked for a bag, the male cashier told me he didn't have any bags, although there was a stack of about 100 bags sitting right on the counter next to him. I asked him about the bags and he said they were for Pick up orders only DoorDash etc.. I left all the stuff on the counter and told him he could keep it! I was willing to pay for the bag, as I was walking out of the door. He began telling me OK I'll give you a bag, by then it was too late, real-real poor service.. No more 7-11 for me ......

No worries later, about 12 trips later and the ice was loaded into the back of my car and en route to this destination. I later had to come back here in order to fill up my gas tank for my two hour drive back to San Diego and hey, no complaints with the gas side of things either. Long story short, this gas station will give you just what your looking for when it comes to gas or ice... oh, and just about every person that walked through the door got a fountain soda. So yeah, you can get that too.

Now it's primarily gas pumps and a food store with plenty to choose from. I saw a senior citizen pull in for gas and the attendant (Willie) went out to pump her gas, do her windows, and check her oil. Haven't seen that since the late 70's. Zak cares for his customers and all the equipment works perfectly. During the night they are closed but you can still pump gas using your credit card. And they'll even leave the light on for you. It was fair priced, a large slice, good presentation, good amount of crumble, not dry, and not too sweet. My mom enjoyed hers as well. As for the coffee, it is amazing. I tried the iced oat milk meteorite latte and it was absolutely amazing. I usually ask for half sweet, but the drinks here are, as the owner said, "balanced." That is my go to drink. My mom loves their matcha. I've had it as well and it is just as amazing. They had a strawberry matcha with strawberry sauce at the bottom and strawberry cold foam on top. However, the sauce was too sweet for us so we did plain matcha and strawberry foam and it was 10/10. I wish they brought this one back. They now have like a triple matcha that is also really good. It is matcha with matcha foam and a matcha dust. Really great. Service: The service is really great. The employees are welcoming, patient, and kind. I also really appreciate that the cafe accepts reusable cups. That says a lot about their environmental conscious. This is actually one of the reasons I return. I do not need a discount on the coffee for using my own reusable cup, however this might incentivize others to bring their own and return. A rewards program would also be good. Ambiance: Plenty of seating -- plenty. There is a bus inside with plants for sale. There are a lot of retro and vintage trinkets with a hint of plants and space. I enjoy that there are couches as well as tables and chairs. There are outlets available but I think there could be more. One reason why I do not tend to work here though is because it gets so hot there in the summer. They do have fans but, I like a nice cool environment. There is plenty of parking as well. (I do not have pics of my drinks because I use my reusable purple hydroflask tumbler so, not much to show)
