Busy street, cramped parking lot--I should know better. This location is busy and it's in a busy strip mall with a doughnut place--expect anything. I really needed a drink, though. The 7-Eleven itself was okay. Even the Mountain Dew I got tasted right. I was surprised because they had $1.39 and other prices underneath the cups and they charged me $0.99 for my Big Gulp, and was friendly about it. As I was getting ready to leave, I looked everywhere several times, and as I was most of the way out, I had a truck, that hadn't been moving, on my now-mangled bike rack. I parked elsewhere, and went over to see his truck. He had no damage and neither did his truck. He looked as well "no damage, you fault, no police" or something like that was said. My favorite fast grab food from 7-11 is taquito's & yea sometimes you come up on some that have been there a bit long cause they're a bit More crunchy lol... but my first time to this place and theirs was ROTTEN.. I took one bite and almost threw up. I smelled it and it smelled like rotten meat. Even the jalapeños cheese ones smelled like it was sitting in old water for some reason, like mildew. BARF!! I would have gave this business a 5 star because Omen offers great service but I could not because of the poor service provided by Happy. I waited in line to be rang up and Happy ignored me until an old white guy approaches the counter. This is not acceptable, Happy is a disgrace to this business and they should not hire people who discriminate as Happy does. Today Happys service was unacceptable and I plan to follow up so that 7-Eleven knows that Happy is poorly representing this company and no one deserved to be discriminated because they are a minority. read more

All I ever want to buy at this 7-11 is coffee, almost every time I go in there, there is little or no coffee. The coffee station looks like a ghost town. Avoid this 7/11. The owner has decided to take away all national promotions. No buy two for this price or any deals. Typical 7-11. I love soda so the Super Big Gulp is my favorite. I also like the selection of scrathers. The scratchers are under the glass at the register. Big bonus: Redbox has two machines outside. The machines are covered so you will not get wet when it is raining. The parking lot SUCKS. It is very small and has very narrow parking spaces. The 7-11 is right next to 101 freeway on-ramps, gas station, apartment complex, neighborhood grocery store, popular donut shop, and a few other foodie and retail stops. This activity causes the parking lot to be overrun with cars, pedestrians, loiters, and lots of garbage. This is the biggest downer for me... parking really does suck. read more

I'll start by saying the employees are good people. Never had an issue with price or quality and one time I bought an expired milk without checking and they took it back no questions. But There is no effort to get rid of the obnoxious whistler out front. Don't give him money? He whistles at the top of his lungs to jar you as you walk by. A real animal of a person that has infested this property for more than 2 years. I've seen him whistling at women, whistling (and I mean full on football stadium over the top of the crowd) at people just to piss them off. Sometimes he seems to be trying to start fights. This is private property and at this point I won't go there or the business nearby because a loudmouth vagrant has taken over many hours a day (he is ALWAYS there). Used to stop in here once a week before the pandemic but not anymore. I imagine a call or 3 to law enforcement and a ban from the property would fix it but without action they seem complicit in scaring away customers. It's too bad. This is my go-to place for snacks and drinks at any hour. Chips, ice cream sandwiches, orange soda, you name it! There's even a Redbox for DVD rentals conveniently located right outside. Cons: There are always some homies hangin' out outside the 7-11. Redbox on the left, homies to the right. They don't usually bother you though. Also the parking lot is tiny and people can't seem to navigate in, out, or around it in their cars. The weirdest thing I can tell you about this 7-11 is that one of the cashiers will try to guilt trip you into buying more items. "That's all you want to buy?... Are you sure you don't want a hot dog? Or chips or something?" You tell him you're fine and you don't need anything else. His response: "What about a soda? Or some gum?" Now I go in there, make my selections, put them down on the counter, and declare for the whole store to hear, "That's all I'm getting today!" This is just for the 7-Eleven at 708 Fair Oaks...others are fine. I try to avoid this place but sometimes it's just on the way. WATCH FOR OVERCHARGING AND SHORT-CHANGING. I have been short-changed at least twice that I am aware of. My change seemed to have nothing to do with the amount I owed. When I bring it to the cashier's attention, they have difficulty as they try to figure out the correct change. These were two separate cashiers. They are not going by what the register says to give for change. Since the correct change is so different from what they actually gave me to begin with, I have to conclude this is a common practice. AVOID AT ALL COSTS OR GET YOUR RECEIPT AND CHECK YOUR CHANGE. read more

I was at this 7/11 in Sunnyvale and I was grabbing some drinks when I saw an employee walking around the store with out a mask. Outside they clearly have a sign that states you must be wearing a mask while shopping. I asked the guy at the register about his coworker not wearing a mask and he responded by saying the guy was on break. If you have a sign outside saying you need to wear a mask you should make sure the employees follow these rules. We need people being responsible about Covid. Always go for the 2/$2 drink deals. Stuff like Perrier, Pure Leaf, etc goes on sale continuously. Today Lipton peach teas were in that sale and grabbed two to go. Just went to this 7-eleven for the first time and It has one of the most inappropriate workers. He stared at me as I was walking in and didn't keep his eyes off of me.
