    Matcha latte and cheddar scone
    Karina S.

Nice place to chat with a friend or work (good wifi + outlets), but a little expensive. My matcha latte with almond milk ended up being $10 total Friendly service, drinks came out quickly and I liked the cozy vibe of the cafe but the latte itself wasn't anything mind blowing enough to justify the cost in my opinion.

This cafe is located on the bottom floor of an apartment building, so parking can be a little limited. I had to park down the street and walk over. Aside from that, it is such a cute and cozy spot. There is plenty of sunshine and lots of seating, including really comfy plush couches that are great for studying or hanging out. The space is very aesthetically pleasing and feels like the perfect place to cozy up with a book. It also feels very LGBTQIA friendly, which I love. We also bought some coffee beans here that were delicious to brew at home. I tried the marzipan latte and it was amazing. The croissants looked huge and really tasty too. The wifi connection was strong as well. Overall such a lovely cafe. I would definitely recommend it.

Limited space to sit and work I like their playlist They had a decent menu The day I went it was extremely packed. I'm they have a divide where the people who live in those apartments get luxury seating arrangements and visitors have to sit in the coffee bar. I noticed that lots of the patrons were coming from the divide and using up the space when they have their exclusive side to sit on where other people cannot cross. You have to wait until people are done to find a place to sit. Seems like it's a popular place to work. I liked that it's close to the train station. There is however limited very little to no parking

Came here to say this place is still solid, seems they have some new baristas. They're great. Also, $2 day old pastries for the win!

Nice cafe with lots of seating and free wifi. Theres a parking garage you can park in (2hr limit). There's music playing and people talking so it's pretty vibey inside. Specialty drinks aren't on the menu but near the counter. I got the bluepea iced tea with yuzu which tastes great!

Love this coffee shop! It's conveniently located right next to the Caltrain station and tucked inside an apartment building. The space is very spacious, making it a great place to study or get some work done. I ordered the matcha latte and the banana bread latte. Both were delicious and not too sweet, which I really appreciated. It is a little on the pricey side, but the quality is great. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Rosemary matcha and banana bread latte

A really nice cafe located adjacent to the lobby of an apartment building right by the Lawrence Caltrain station. There's a parking garage available, though it was full when we visited, so we parked on the street. The ambiance is cozy yet classy, with high ceilings and lots of natural light. It's a comfortable spot to get some work done, and they offer free Wi-Fi - just note there are only a few outlets, so come with your devices charged. We tried two of their seasonal drinks: the Banana Bread Latte and the Rosemary Matcha Latte. Both were super unique and delicious, and we loved that they make their syrups in-house! Food prices are on the higher side: - Chorizo Burrito - $14.50. Tasty but quite small, definitely smaller than your average breakfast burrito and given the small size didn't quite feel it was worth the price - Ham & Cheese Croissant - around $7, but a generous portion and very satisfying.

    Peppermint mocha

This is probably one of the fanciest/most decorated inside of the Coffeebars that I've been to. I got the banana bread latte which is a seasonal drink, and my partner got the peppermint mocha. We both liked our respective drinks more, but I thought both drinks were solid! I think they are a little on the sweeter side, but as someone who likes things "not too sweet" I thought the overall flavors complement the fragrance from the espresso very well. There is parking for coffeebar underneath the apartment building, although it's pretty limited. There is street parking as well! I like how they decorated for the holidays. I've been here 2 times now and the service has been pretty quick both times.

I ordered the matcha banana latte and it was absolutely delicious smooth, well-balanced, and refreshing. The customer service was excellent, and the shop itself was clean and inviting.

    $8 small (8 oz) mocha

First time and would have never know this existed without someone telling me. It's on the south side of the Caltrain tracks in the corner of the residential complex. Came for lunch and ordered a salad and seasonal coffee. The salad was tasty and the mocha with orange syrup was quite good as well. The reason for only three stars is 1) it felt like a hotel lobby type of venue 2) the prices were ridiculous: $8 for a 8oz mocha with flavored syrup? The salad was $18. Based on prices alone I would not recommend and do not plan to return.

Ube latte Prosecco mimosa Almond croissant Butter croissant
    Julia B.

My friend lives in the Hartwood apartment complex which is connected to Coffeebar. The modern interior and unique drink selection is what brought me in though. The mimosa was topped off with fresh pulpy orange juice, which was delicious. Tasted like fresh orange juice. I opted for the "day old" pastries which looked just as good as the regular ones, and I was right! Just $2 each instead of $6 for a fresh croissant. The pastries taste regular, like they were bought from costco, but nonetheless still delicious with the Ube Latte I ordered. I forgot to order it iced, but I'm glad because the hot version actually tastes better. Service was quick, and shoutout to whoever is on aux because they were playing bangers.

We ordered these, but the food was disappointing and the drinks were bland nothing stood out.
    Treyci L.

First time visiting this place and I was expecting a great experience based on the Yelp reviews. Sadly, both the food and drinks were disappointing very bland. On top of that, the staff member ( the guy) who took our order didn't even inform us when our drinks were ready. We ended up waiting for our food, not knowing the drinks had already been sitting there, until I finally had to go ask him myself.

Interesting cafe/coffeebar walking distance across from the Lawrence Caltrain stop Sunnyvale area. Of all places, I didn't expect this type of modern/upgraded cafe hidden in this part of Sunnyvale off Reed & Lawrence Expressway. Odd location. It blends into the luxury apartments ($3500-$7000+ per month rent) and luxury Toll Brothers development in this neighborhood. Public parking is tight and limited inside the retail parking garage, but there's free parking on back streets and side streets by Caltrain area if you can find one. It was easier parking near luxury apartments though. Staffs/employees are friendly and casual. Unique, high ceilings, spacious, well decorated with modern furnishings, clean, and positive environment inside. Quiet and good for work or study during morning hours. You can sit outdoors too and look at the busy Caltrain riders walking around. Residents living in the luxury complexes visit often. It's the type of cafe that you would most likely find in San Francisco or big cities, but so far so good in Sunnyvale. Modern architecture. Yes, foods, pastries, and beverages are on the higher price points. Comfortable tables and chairs can accommodate large groups too. I had the hot cup small vanilla latte, medium 12 oz. hot cup hot chocolate, and tried the veggie breakfast burrito (sliced into two pieces). All tasted as good as it looks. Pick up your own dishes/cups/trash. There's not much direct service unless you are dining inside with hot foods carried to the table. Tipping should be optional. You're cleaning up/picking up after yourself here, even over the counter grabbing your own drinks. I just wish they had a larger public parking garage instead of sharing with the luxury apartments. Good looking and spacious cafe for professionals and public commuters.

It sounds like a lot, but it actually works really well together. The White Champaca tea is on the mellow side, the Jasmine whipped cream adds additional floral aroma and extra creaminess, the sago gives texture without overpowering the drink, and the little bits of pecan add a nice surprise crunch. My husband's favorite is the Peach Oolong. I've had my fair share of peach milk teas over the years where they can be too sweet and the peach flavor tastes straight up like chemicals, but this has to be the best peach-flavored tea I've had so far! It has a fruity taste that doesn't overpower the flavor of the tea leaves. When I first visited last year, they had a "Fresh Oat Milk Tea Series", but I'm sad to say that it's not on this location's menu anymore. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---A M B I A N C E -- I'm diggin' the woodsy, warm, Asian-y aesthetic they got going on! Tea and merch are displayed on the walls, and pink is definitely their signature color, so expect to see pops of it here and there in the decor, cups, and to-go bags. This location has a decent amount of chairs and tables, but let me tell you, this place was hella busy back when it was the only Bay Area location. We learned the hard way that the parking lot gets packed. Sometimes you'll get stuck in the super small lot because someone isn't even in a spot -- they just have their car parked with the hazards on while they run in to pick up their drink. Other times, cars are waiting and signaling for a parking spot while other cars are on standby waiting for people to leave after grabbing their drinks. The gas station behind the shop clearly got tired of it too because they put up a bunch of signs saying they'll tow if you park there just to visit Molly Tea. I highly recommend parking down the street near the apartment sidewalks or across the street and taking a little stroll to the store instead. Honestly, it just showed me that no matter how tiny the lot was, people still made the effort to slide through for drank. Fair warning though -- definitely expect to wait and chill. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- S E R V I C E --- I will say, the staff handles the busyness pretty well. Lines are usually at or out the door, and they're receiving online orders simultaneously. There's another boba shop in the Bay that has a similar layout and process as Molly Tea, but that other chain feels like workers on an assembly line with deadpan faces. I feel like the brightness and warmth of Molly Tea is emphasized even more because of the friendly staff and their willingness to help with your order even after it's received.

Ordering is pretty straightforward on their self-service kiosks. On this particular visit, I had their White Champaca Oolong Milk Tea with less ice and 30% sugar. Somehow, they always get it just right in terms of sweetness. The best part is the "three stack straw" which really brings out the taste of the tea. Drinks were being made and served to order minute by minute, and the overall wait time was ~ 15 minutes. While the seating here is comfortable and can be relaxing, make sure to plan ahead, as the sun can be quite the nuisance at the right angles!
