We both ordered waters, but my son's had floating green particles on top that looked like green onions. Instant turn off. I ordered a poke bowl and he ordered ramen. I do wish both dishes would've come out together. Once we started eating, I could tell pretty quickly my poke bowl was anything but fresh. The cucumbers tasted sour, the edamame was mushy, and the amount and quality of the fish was disappointing for the price. My son had a similar experience with his ramen. He said the wontons tasted like nothing, although the broth and noodles themselves weren't bad. This little restaurant honestly has so much potential, which is why I hate leaving a negative review for a mom-and-pop place. It was good, but it feels like they are more worried about the spice level than the quality of the dish. Lastly was the Pad KraPrao. I have eaten at too many Thai restaurants to count, and they all serve this dish the same way: rice on the bottom and the PKP on top. Nice and easy. This place served it (and all the dishes I saw) like Chinese food: Two huge plates, one with rice and one with the PKP. That coupled with the taste (not very good) means that I will not order that again. I will give them another chance. I'll take my own peanut sauce for the spring rolls, and pick a recommendation off of these other reviews.

This place is located on a run-down street on the back side of LC and as you pass shuttered shops and run down eyesores you question your choices, but as soon as you walk into this place, you can see the pride that has kept this restaurant alive since the 80's. Now I had a lunch special, so I really can't opine to all the food, but I can say that the egg rolls and the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce were good and served pleasantly and promptly. Starting with the atmosphere -- when we were seated, the table was noticeably sticky, which immediately set the wrong tone. The overall space felt dated, and several tables showed visible wear, including warped wood. It gave the impression that maintenance and upkeep may not be a priority.
