First off, I am very glad there is Thai restaurant in Lake Charles. There needs to be a couple of more. I think they have the right idea, but I will have to disagree on their execution. We got the Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, and the Pad KraPrao. Overall the food tasted good, not great. My biggest complaint is that the peanut sauce was something I've never seen (as in DID NOT LIKE) seen. It's some kind of clear liquid thing. They could buy peanut sauce in the Asian section at any grocery store and it would be better. Next was the Pad Thai. It was good, but it feels like they are more worried about the spice level than the quality of the dish. Lastly was the Pad KraPrao. I have eaten at too many Thai restaurants to count, and they all serve this dish the same way: rice on the bottom and the PKP on top. Nice and easy. This place served it (and all the dishes I saw) like Chinese food: Two huge plates, one with rice and one with the PKP. That coupled with the taste (not very good) means that I will not order that again. I will give them another chance. I'll take my own peanut sauce for the spring rolls, and pick a recommendation off of these other reviews. read more

This was my first time trying Thai Lake Charles, overall it was a tasty experience. The spicy fried rice was the star of the show. I got medium spice for both glass noodles and fried rice and it was still pretty spicy so keep that in mind. read more

It's a great Thai place. The restaurant is nice and clean and organized and the food was excellent. Found this place on Yelp, looking for something good with lots of stars and Thai Lake Charles earns every single one, from service, to cleanliness to the food. I had the 42, my friend had the 40, and my other friend had the Pad Thai. We also had the spring rolls and the egg rolls with their special peanut sauce. Everything was truly amazing! This was my first experience with Thai food. My goodnesss... the Pad Mai Thai with a medium spice level was PERFECT! I had no idea what to order, but the guy at the counter gave me a lot of recommendations. I didn't LOVE the spring rolls, but then again I typically don't like cucumber. I absolutely love Thai food, and here's my honest review. The customer service was excellent. As soon as I walked in, the delicious aroma of good food was in the air. My husband and I ordered egg rolls (one of the options), but they were disappointing--very empty and bland. I also tried their top-selling dish, where you can choose your protein. I went with chicken, but once again, it was lacking in meat. The dish had very little chicken and was mostly noodles, but the flavor was there. The fried shrimp and sauce were AMAZING, I will get that again for sure. Despite this, I'll return because there are so many other dishes I want to try, but please, be generous with the meat. We're paying premium prices and expect more. read more

So glad this restaurant opened up in Lake Charles! Every dish is full of its own unique flavor, especially the Pad Mai Thai. Wash it down with some Tom Yum soup and you'll be in heaven!
