Found this place on Yelp, looking for something good with lots of stars and Thai Lake Charles earns every single one, from service, to cleanliness to the food. I had the 42, my friend had the 40, and my other friend had the Pad Thai. We also had the spring rolls and the egg rolls with their special peanut sauce. Everything was truly amazing! I absolutely love Thai food, and here's my honest review. The customer service was excellent. As soon as I walked in, the delicious aroma of good food was in the air. My husband and I ordered egg rolls (one of the options), but they were disappointing--very empty and bland. I also tried their top-selling dish, where you can choose your protein. I went with chicken, but once again, it was lacking in meat. The dish had very little chicken and was mostly noodles, but the flavor was there. The fried shrimp and sauce were AMAZING, I will get that again for sure. Despite this, I'll return because there are so many other dishes I want to try, but please, be generous with the meat. We're paying premium prices and expect more. read more

This was my first experience with Thai food. My goodnesss... the Pad Mai Thai with a medium spice level was PERFECT! I had no idea what to order, but the guy at the counter gave me a lot of recommendations. I didn't LOVE the spring rolls, but then again I typically don't like cucumber. Walked in and was greeted by a very nice gentleman, who seemed a little hesitant from the looks the restaurant was in a bit of a rush. He was able to get my order down and sent to the kitchen, and even though I was doing take out, I was able to add more food before I had to actually pay. The kitchen was doing a remarkable job getting the food out. From the dining area, I could hear the communication, I could smell the deliciousness awaiting to come through the door, and I could see the quickness of employees and the flames of the grills mastering perfection. Once my food arrived the same gentleman that took my order was very pleased to let me know that my order was ready with a big smile on his face and double checked to make sure everything was correct. The food was fantastic, there was a sweet chili fish dish that I tried for the first time that was amazing and of course you can't go wrong with any of the pad thai .
