We lost the old Texas highway dodgeball game where you evade flying debris while driving and we got a large crack in the windshield. So I searched and I was amazed that there was such a highly-rated windshield replacement place in the area. Sure enough, extremely polite owner picked up, thanked us for their business several times, he knew exactly what to get, when he could get it, and offered us a ride home. They did a fantastic job replacing the windshield. All the sensors worked fine afterwards and they even added a thin layer of film to dampen the sound of wind on the windshield. I had been here ten years ago when Ivan owned the business. Leevr owns it now. My rear window glass was a three piece section, with a vertical slide in the middle where the weatherstripping was twisted. It wasn't possible to replace the weatherstripping per the vehicle manufacturer, but an entire three piece window has to be ordered. How often can you open a window in Houston? So I asked if a solid piece of glass was available, which there was. I have had rain water coming into my 2010 truck since the beginning. Water drips onto the passenger rear head rest and into the rear driver side door well. Every mechanic I've been to stated it was leaking from the sun roof. Leevr shook his head and said it was from the back window. Newer vehicles are precision engineered. The price with removal and installation was a bit over $700, with $400 for the window and a bit over $300 for labor, and took about five hours to complete. I read other reviews from/about women who state he overcharges them. So I, as an elderly woman, called a couple other shops afterward and was quoted much cheaper prices, but the level of complexity was not taken into consideration. I am fully satisfied with all. My window was actually screwed in, and there was so much glue and adhesive between the large rubber exterior strip over the paint. All that glue had to be meticulously removed by hand, not scraped, as the paint would be damaged. I stayed the duration of the operation and took pictures and observed them. The original window leaked because there were two large gaps where the water channels along the roof which allowed water into the vehicle. The new rear window is lighter in color, easier for these elderly eyes to see out of, and no more water in the vehicle. I also opted to have ceramic film put on the front driver and passenger window. I had used them twice before and they did good work and were reasonably priced. One time they left tape residue all over the car that was extremely difficult to remove but it didn't complain about it. This time I needed an Estimate for two windows broken in by vandals so employer would pay. Time sensitive request. I was going to bring the car in on my day off in two days but needed the estimate prior to that so I could provide to employer and communicated that to the owner. He promised to send it as soon as we hung up. By end of day. Nothing. So called on my way home from work and reminded him in case he forfeit. He said he never forgets a customer and would send it right away. By next morning. Nothing. I called the next morning and was pretty upset as I was facing a deadline to provide estimate. I told him if he couldn't do it I would take the car elsewhere. I even texted him the same information. He told me he was sorry and he would send the estimate immediately. By midnight that night I still had not received it and missed my deadline. If you need this place to do anything except fix glass then do not rely on them. The owner is too busy or too distracted or too indifferent to provide a simple estimate that would have saved me the 1000 dollars of the repair. Very disappointed. read more

I had a rock chip my windshield ( smaller than a dime size) and based on the reviews, I decided to come here...big mistake! I came here on a Sunday morning and there was only one worker. He was courteous and got me in quickly. As I was waiting, he kept going in and out of the shop. I assumed it was normal as he was getting supplies and what not. The service took about 45mins since he was repairing two rock chips. When he finally got done, he came inside and was telling me that it was not a guaranteed fix...He could of told me that before he began the work or when he kept going in and out of the office?!? But no, he failed to do so...then he charges me full price and says he would give me a discount next time. He should of discounted the work he did this time! I had a very large crack in my driver's side windshield, where I couldn't see over or under it while I was driving. It was a Sunday, so I called thecompany, who referred me to an open location not far from where I live. The staff were very positive, polite, and told me they had a new windshield in stock. The wait was not ideal, but after the weekend, one can imagine the totality of damage that others have also suffered. A tech called me to the bay to ask questions about current labels on the windshield, which I appreciated. Once my vehicle went into the bay, I only waited about 4o min. The end result was very professional, friendly, and polite. The only negative is that I was quoted $349 for the windshield replacement. When I went to pay, the man said $379. He then asked if I liked surprises them told me it would cost the original $349. Pay attention to quotes and do not play a fool. I first called the Spring location and was told they were closed for the day... HOWEVER this location was open and had my windshield in stock. $149 for the windshield, another $60 or so for new window seals. It was Sunday and they were turning and burning new windshields in and out fast. I sat for approximately 1-1.5 hours max (wasn't really paying attention to the clock). Not a big deal since I brought some work with me to use my time wisely. Sitting in the lobby they had so many people in and out fast that I was extremely impressed. Guy at the front desk was top notch always thanking customers for their business which is always great to see and hear. I believe they had more than just windshields too. Awesome experience here! As I'm sure any person relatively new to Houston can attest, you have NOT arrived in this wonderful city until your car has been broken into. LOL. The morning after I found myself a victim of a rear windshield smashing, these guys came to my rescue. I called the owner up and told him my situation. He told me they had the correct window and I was initially nervous, as I drive a luxury vehicle and sometimes the parts are not always readily available. However,once I arrived and he confirmed he had the correct window, I was in and out in about 3 hours. He was super sweet ,gracious for my business and fully communicative about the entire process. They even vacuumed out the entire hatch area! (I've had a window repaired from a smashing before, in another city, and they didn't even do that!) From what my research revealed, the price they charged me for the window plus re-tinting and labor was about as much as what I'd priced on Google and with Safelite, if not a little less, and it was still less than my deductible, so it was still a win for me.
