The asset manager for the property, Jackson, is incredibly responsive to all requests. Building is cleaned regularly and comes with cool amenities (large gym on the first floor, private parking lot, in-unit washer + dryer, free cable TV, tons of natural lighting in each unit, basement storage, first floor lounge area, etc.). I couldn't recommend the Sidway enough to any prospective apartment hunter!

We were waiting on a new build that was postponed and this caused us to be in a position to have to vacate our old house, leaving a three months window in which we needed to find a place to stay. It was a hard, exhausting search when my wife and I needed to find a place in the interim, as most landlords/apartment managers didn't care to rent short term. The first place I looked was The Sidway after seeing a few of its advertisements for apartments on Craig's List. I met with one of the apartment managers named Laura. She showed us the building and the prospective apartments. We were originally looking for a one bedroom, and liked the one bedroom she showed us (it was around $900). However, our needs started to gravitate towards a two bedroom due to the fact that we have a baby and we were starting to realize that babies cry a lot. We loved the two bedroom, but had just begun our search for a place and were convinced at the time that we could find an equally pleasing abode for a cheaper price (two bedrooms are around $1300 a month). WE WERE WRONG. About a month later we had ran the gauntlet of smelly, dirty, expensive, stupid apartments in less desirable places in the downtown area, many of which had weirdoes for landlords (one guy had a 7 ft. tall Russian woman stand behind him the whole time he showed me the apartment that stared me down like a feminine Ivan Drago. Another one, an old lady wanted us to live in her attic...probably, I assume, until she could poison us and make fancy hats out of our skins). Good apartments were ranging in price from $900 to $1500, but almost all the cheaper ones weren't on The Sidway's level and wouldn't rent to us short term. Man, was I glad to see that The Sidway had a two bedroom vacancy. As I said, our two bedroom apartment went for about $1300, but that price included Time Warner cable and water. Heat is also included in the building, but each apartment has a heat pump powered by the electricity (the electric bill is the only utility not included in the price). However, even though we used the heat pump often, our electric bill's increase was very minor. They had and still have a "Home Town Heroes" discount (military, fire fighters, etc.), where they take $250 off the first month's rent. The area is as good as it gets: practically across the street from Shea's Theater and right on the border of Allentown. We were within walking distance of great restaurants, downtown entertainment and my work... Ok, I may have been a little too excited to walk to work. Big deal. The building is mainly comprised of younger professionals, many of whom live alone or without kids (we were THAT couple that brought a baby, but no one seemed to mind or notice). It seemed like everyone had a dog though, so pets aren't an issue. The accommodations were top notch. There is a storage cell in the basement for each apartment, a couple of recreation games (ping-pong & air hockey) for you and your guests, a free coffee bar in the downstairs lobby, a gym/exercise room and a clean and tidy laundry room that costs under $3 a load. The Sidway even has its own online portal that you can pay your rent and keep track of other important information. Lastly, and perhaps my favorite reason that you should rent from The Sidway: the staff is exemplary. We did most of our dealing with another property manager named Olya. She never wasted anytime getting back to us with any question we had and was always polite and professional. If we ever even thought about a complaint she immediately worked everything out for us. Any minor service issue (light bulb out, something not working, etc.) was handled by Paul, and he was always prompt and courteous just the same. And then there's Robert, the Door Man. Aside from opening the door and shooting the obligatory small talk with you, I've seen him doing a litany of other small tasks around the building for other tenants. Best of all, none of the staff ever tried to poison us and make us into hats. I recommended The Sidway to one of my other co-workers who moved in the following week. You wanna be next? The apartment is in a safe, quiet community and although we are close to traffic and the airport it is still very quiet. Management is fantastic, fast to respond, organized and efficient. Our dog loves all the green space and the dog park. This apartment has everything we need and is clean! We also love the king size bed and two TVs. Plus, the location is fantastic, very close to lots of stores and restaurants and we can easily walk to the golf dome! We would highly recommend Coventry green!

I loss my $600 to hold the apartment, my instincts tossed knowledge and understanding in my mind advising me to read the whole contract CAREFULLY, until I comprehend it. 5 things that makes this place worth 5 star!…read more 1) Layout/Plan : On the website you could see the details from price to layout as it needs a whole website to discuss about. The 2 story and private entrance gives a feel of townhouse. The apartments are new, spacious, have a open layout and brightness to them. Gym and pool are not that great but you have something better than nothing. Have a laundry room inside the apartment and i love that with kids. Clubhouse is free once a year to use for party and its good to know. These are the best of their all 4 types of apartments offered. If you live on ground floor , you will hear the footsteps on the floor above a lot. But with kids i prefer to take the pain by renting on the ground floor than to take the stress of how the people below us are really annoyed if we are not lucky. 2) Location: Right on transit, across from Wegmans, neighbor to Kohls and what not. You name it, its there within its reach but never had any disturbance of the trucks or noise. Great expensive houses in the neighborhood. 3) School: Country parkway elementary, Transit Middle, East high. One of the best schools you can get. All in closest proximity. 4) Family: Lots of kids and they use all the lawn area as a backyard. People are so used to all this that it becomes a part of their life. The office hours are setup so it's possible for tenants to get in touch with apartment managers in person within the week if they would like to. Of course, there are other means to get in touch with them as well. There have been a few times when we needed to call back for follow-up but overall, it wasn't a big deal. Most issues we had were resolved timely. Another thing I like is how quickly the maintenance team responds to calls. Anything marked as urgent is answered within hours. Anything non-urgent is looked into and usually resolved within two or three days. In winter, our walkways are shoveled first thing in the morning and the parking lot is drivable within a reasonable time. If the weather is so bad that there's no way anything can get plowed, the apartment managing team is quick to communicate the situation to all the residents. They're also timely in commucating change of maintenance schedule, inspection schedule, and other reminders to residents. Overall, we have been quite pleased with our experience.

The maintenance guys, Sean and Paul are good too. The respond to requests within hours. The units themselves are very modern and nice. The units allow pets at no additional fee. 2 parking spaces are included too, which is an incredible value. The location of these apts is right downtown and we walk virtually everywhere. She is never on property & resists finding solutions to any issue that arises. Once I reached my breaking point as the property had become a health & safety hazard due to rat infestation & no plowing/salting being done resulting in several tenants injuring themselves, I escalated my concerns to the CFO Rob Cavallari ... whom also rated this property 5 stars ... and he was no better. Completely arrogant, condescending and legit laughed at the issues i brought up. There are several MAJOR issues with Waterford including tenants that chain smoke & litter everywhere - management refuses to do anything about this, the smell of rotting garbage (there's only one dumpster!), rodents & insect infestation- they are destructive & will chew anything you leave outside including your vehicle, appliances that will break every few months, loud & disruptive neighbors and being pestered by the leasing office when you're about to move if multiple prospective tenants can tour during the peak of covid. Because tenants are never held to the terms of the lease it sets a precedent that "anything goes" which has made living here extremely unbearable. Also, the units are poorly constructed (drafts near doors, water back ups frequently, plumbing issues & heating / cooling issues etc.) and the complex offers no amenities aside from a poorly maintained pool. Very high turnover rate, no long term tenants. Bliss feels that they can ignore how their tenants feel and keep releasing unit after unit, how's this review? Maybe it's time to make some changes. Fire Rachel and stop turning a blind eye to tenants concerns especially when there are reported injuries due to your negligence.

They enter your unit without warning, NEVER PLOW THE PARKING LOT IN THE WINTER. But don't worry they'll still charge you the 20$ parking fee even, if the parking lot is completely full of snow. When I moved in the unit was full of mold in the shower, and they refused to clean it. Also, when you move out you can get charged if your roommates trash the place after you leave, even if you hand in the keys and have photographic proof.
