If you value your machine, DO NOT take it to this place. I took my ATV there in July for an oil change and tune up. I was running fine when I took it there. When I went to pick it up the owner had a difficult time starting it. He said because it was sitting outside for a few days. When I got the machine home, it would not start at all. I contacted him that it would not start, and he said he was now busy and said I could bring it back in a couple of weeks. I took it back and he said there was bad gas in it (I had just put new non-ethanol in it). He said he had to drain the tank and clean the fuel lines, clean the carburetor, and put a new spark plug in it. I took the machine home, and it still would NOT start. I contacted him again ( he doesn't answer his phone, he only replies to text messages). Again, he said he was busy, and he'd get back to me when I could bring it in. I asked if he had some obligation to look at my machine since it's not running after 2 trips to his place. His response was, "Just because I touched it does not mean that I caused the problem." To the contrary, I got fed up with this guy's bull and took it to a very reputable dealer in the area. Their service department looked at the machine, and the next day called me and said the carburetor had been taken off but was not placed back into the machine properly which was the primary no start problem. They also said the spark plug was at least a couple of years old and was definitely NOT a new plug. When I told them who did the work, they said I was not the first person to bring a machine to them after 716 motorsports had "worked on it". 716 Motorsports charged me for a spark plug he never replaced and labor he had not provided. On the invoice he had charged me for a spark plug installation and testing. I my opinion, he is an incompetent mechanic, a liar and a thief. And the final word, he sent me a text on Sept. 26, 2 months after I first brought it in, asking me if I'd like to bring it back. HA HA, NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Gerard has been my go-to mechanic for several years. He's knowledgeable, kind and reasonably priced. He's definitely helped me out when in a bind and answers his phone on nights/weekends, unlike most modern day mechanics who work a 9-5. I would avoid this this business like the plague if you are looking to get an older Honda / Yamaha bike serviced. I called Gerard originally to see if he specialized on these types of bikes which originally assured me he owned a very similar bike to the bike that I was requesting service on and he could start working on the bike the following week. I proceeded to drop my bike off describing the issues I was having (even left parts off the bike to make it easier for him to get to this issue which he later charged me for reinstalling these parts on the non working bike). After dropping the bike off it took the mechanic over 3 weeks to even touch the bike and I was told 2 other issues needed to be fixed on the bike before the original issue could be addressed (he stated carbs needed to be rebuilt and starter barring needed to be fixed). I agreed to this after Gerard quoted me on what the job would cost (he later told me he quoted me incorrectly and requoted me $500+ higher) . After several more weeks Gerard emailed me that he would not be able to fix the issue and I needed to take the bike elsewhere which was extremely frustrating. After inquiring what actual work had been done on the bike for the service I was being charged, Gerard told me that he was actually much deeper in labor and I should be happy this was all he was charging me. Trying to cut my losses and just pick the bike up, I called Gerard to tell him after I had paid him in full (before he even worked on the bike) that I would be picking the bike up later that day. He stated he would leave the bike outside the shop as I would be picking the bike up after hours. After lining up a trailer, I completely wasted my afternoon after pulling up to the shop and finding out Gerard had forgot to pull the bike out after leaving for the day. I tried calling Gerard and even reaching out to him on his Facebook page as I had just driven a trailer across WNY to pick up my property. No Response from him that night, did notice he took time to post on his Facebook before leaving the shop for the day that he was "seeing who had that Smoke." Later was able to get my bike picked up and he did throw in a carb repair kit, however the kit he gave me is not even for my bike lol. Would not wish this experience for any other motorcycle enthusiast out there. read more

6-8 weeks; you had the bike since late April & still didn't fix the simple overheating issue. After trying to get the bike in June, it overheated again and cut off, leaving ur shop. U said you'll pick it up, twice. Once B4 the holiday & again on the 15th. You Didn't pick the bike up either time. Now offering the 31th. Sounds like More false promises. read more

by far my worst experience with a mechanic. they went way over my budget without authorization and then the first time i rode the bike after winter, because it took them 3 months to work on them and it dies and i got stranded. stay as far away as possible from this shop. in addition, there were 2 bikes. one of which did not have parts shipped from Japan and this is not the one that isnt running. the one that dosnt run is the one that they "adjusted" my problem with the whole thing is that when i called to complain they told me to bring it in for an estimate. not anything for free. i will never take any of my bikes back here. I wish i had read more reviews first as I am not the only one that feels this way by far. read more

Extremely unprofessional. They'll do work without owners' approval and charge you for it, regardless if service was unwanted. They don't return phone calls. They take extremely longer than they say they will to do a job. Don't waste your time! read more

Wow! How much did you have to pay people to get those reviews? Anyways, dropped my bike off for starting issues over a week ago. Gerard verbally and written stated the my bike would be check within 3 days. After about 6 days of not testing the bike. I called in and said "don't not touch my bike, I'm coming to pick it up after 4:00" that phone call was at 1:05pm. I get and invoice sent to me by 2:56pm of over $200. So I called Gerard and he stated they had the bike in there for 4-5 hours. Cleaned all the terminals, fixed this sensor, fixed that sensor that was all testing tools needed and a list of a bunch of other thing AND the bike was test ridden and rode fine. Great! Just what I brought it in for in the beginning. So I'm happy to go get my bike. Whenever I arrive the bike starts and runs but it bogging and barley staying idle. Gerard is nowhere to be found and I asked the technician Larry what was done to my bike. He stated, he reattached a clip on a sensor and that's it. It was never test ridden, there were no terminals that needed to be cleaned, no extra tools needed. So I appreciate the HONESTY from Larry and paid for my whatever service, and left with my bogging bike down the street. I guess what I'm trying to get to here Gerard is Don't lie to your customers saying you did something and you didn't and work on my bike for not even 2 hours and charge me over $200 for a unclipped sensor. That's bad for business and your reputation. The fact is you LIED ABOUT WHAT YOU DIDN'T DO. I would have been happier and probably returned for business if you would have just told me the truthI won't be back.. I give this place 2 years max. DO YOUR RESEARCH, STAY AWAY....
