The lady that works 8am-4 is the absolute rudest! I would give zero stars, but the Staff from the afternoon are always really kind. I come here quite often but most of the time I'll leave if she's there. She discriminates her customers and makes racist remarks. A couple days ago I went in around 5 and to my surprise she was still there, I was standing behind an Asian man and while a young girl was ringing him up and the lady from the mornings kept going "Ching Chong" and laughing! The girl behind the register looked so uncomfortable and kept throwing glances at her. I felt so bad and was disgusted by her behavior I decided to put my things back and leave. The "manager" at this location is RIDICULOUS. I've been going in for months for coffee every morning & she started saying "these people" are messy. I could hear her snickering behind the counter telling the cashier that I better not make a mess. I clean up after myself every time & don't ever make a fuss. But this is outright disrespectful. The other cashiers throughout the day are so kind. This is the type of person that runs the store? My brother told me that this lady also made racist comments about him as he was at the checkout counter. I will be contacting the store to find out who to report her to. read more

This station ranks at the top of the class for customer service. My mom and aunt were traveling from the Bay Area to Monterey yesterday evening and encountered a problem with a warning light. Since she normally uses 76 gas they pulled into this station to check it out. A young woman working there noticed them and used her break time to help them get back on the road. The evening attendant was so kind. I use to buy a specific drink every time I came there. When I mentioned they no longer carried it, the Caucasian evening attendant called and left a message for the manager asking her to restock it. Consistently, this 76 station is my very favorite place to stop for gas on our way to or from Monterey. And if we have been doing a little shopping in the outlets it's a "must stop"... Apparently I had overdone it at the Outlets because my right flip-flop just flat out broke. I walked like Frankenstein into this fill-up station, thinking they might have a stapler that could serve as a temporary fix so I could go back to getting my deal on. Cute station attendant man broke out some hardcore MacGyver shiz with a pair of Fiskars and a paper clip and it's still holding strong several weeks later. He totally saved my @ss. Love him. My mother, whom I haven't seen in 5 years came all the way from Los Banos California to pick me up in Saratoga California to attend my grandmother's funeral. On the way back to Los Banos we stopped at the halfway point in Gilroy at In and Out Burger. After that we started to head home but since it was nighttime and the windows were dirty I figured we could stop at the 76 gas station off leavesley to clean the windows. So I did that and my mother helped me and when we went to go leave the ignition on the car broke and the car wouldn't start. I was working on it for a little while certainly wasn't the five hours they said it was and both of our phones eventually died. The gas station attendant said that they were going to have to call their tow company and that they would be able to tow our car out of the way of the gas pump and set it down so we can wait for a friend who was coming to get us. I went and found an outlet to charge my phone for a minute and I found out how to move a car, put the car in neutral without a key. By that time I heard the tow truck was there so I ran over to the gas station and told them that it would take me two seconds and by that time they all surrounded me saying no you can't jack up your car here you've been working on it for 5 hours it's illegal to do that I'll get fired which is not true I wasn't working on it for 5 hours. And at this point the tow truck driver said that he's going to take it to the impound. So the gas station attendants blatantly lied to my mother who is now crying hysterically because she just found out that her only car was being impounded, we have no money and now we're stuck in Gilroy at 1 in the morning and mind you her mother, my grandmother just died. We both asked the gas station attendants What happened to the drop down fee or whatever she called it and she kept backpedaling saying oh I told that not every tow Companies the same which isn't true she didn't say that so instead of moving our car to the side away from the gas pump so we can wait for a friend to come help us he was now taking my mom's only car to the impound. My mother is even offering him cash just to move it 20 ft away from the pump. The tow truck driver from Marx Towing Inc was very cold and would not comply he had no heart and no soul just like the gas station attendants at the 76 and I'll be writing the Marx Towing a review here in a second. So I'm trying to reason with them and my mom's crying hysterically and they said that they are calling the police and they should have called the police long time ago and nobody was getting out of hand with anybody. There was a terrible thing these people had done and now we are in a very very tough spot because of them. It would have taken me literally 5 minutes if that the Jack the car up, go underneath the car with a flashlight and disconnect one of the cables that would allow me to put it in neutral without a key and move it away from the gas pump. But no they couldn't let me do that. I hope someday they are in a rough situation during a very rough spot in their lives and I hope somebody shows them no mercy and I hope that day comes very soon. My mother nearly had a heart attack from this. Like I said they're soulless and heartless I'm going to go write a review about Marx Towing right after I give them a call in 12 minutes to see how much it's going to cost to get the car out of impound which I'm sure we can't afford.
