It's frustrating knowing my sister- and brother-in-law trusted your shop for something as basic as an oil change and may not be able to feel that same trust going forward. Do better.

I had traveled across the country and had noticed some outside tire wear on the front of my truck…read more I had stopped at another Goodyear Dealership for a quote on tires and to check the front end alignment but they told me they could not work on my truck because it was a dully. They suggested Frasier Tire, which was only a few exits down the highway. I stopped at Frasier and once I walked in the door, I explained my situation being from out of town with a close departure date. I originally spoke with Woody who referred me to Mike. Woody took me back and introduced me to Mike. I explained to Mike my situation and he walked outside and looked at the tire of concern. I also was looking for better tires and I explained to Mike what I was looking for. Mike walked me back to their tire stock room and showed me an example of the tire he suggested. As it was, I was there on a Friday, but Mike assured me he could have six tires by Monday and they would also be able to check the alignment on my truck. I also explained to Mike that I had a camper that I was towing and he suggested I just pull it into their parking lot, unhook and they would tend to my truck. Mike did not require any money down and after setting up my appointment for 1 pm on that following Monday, I left for the weekend. Monday afternoon arrived and I was there about 30 minutes early. They got my truck in for the alignment check immediately (early). Once that was done, Mike and another gentleman switched out and balanced my new tires. I was there for about 2 hours from start to finish but I felt it was very reasonable considering how busy they were. The alignment technician explained in detail on the adjustment made to my truck. Mike also told me that when I was in town next time, just to stop by and they would check to ensure the tires were wearing appropriately. I did some price checking on the tires that I purchased from Frasier and the price was in alignment with what I would have paid on the internet. Mike and crew were very professional and they explained everything to me. Mike ensured I had all my paperwork and asked for me to return if I had any problems. I'm happy to report I traveled across the country with no problems or excessive wear on any of my new tires. Now, if you plan on waiting for your vehicle, be informed that this is a workplace that allows smoking. Several of the staff smoke and they are either in an office or in and out of the shop. It reminded me of a shop back in the 80's. I mention this just as a side note but I personally was not bothered that much by it. If you're one that can't be around cigarette smoke, then I'd suggest dropping off your vehicle and not waiting for the work to be completed. All in all, I'm totally satisfied with Frasier Tire! I feel they gave me a good deal and Mike was totally great. Woody was very helpful as well and I listened to him help several other customers and he was always professional. I'm thankful they got my tires and fixed me up which allowed me to hit the road and travel home on time.

I found Turnage Auto Care through Yelp and made the appointment right through the Yelp app. Tyler messaged me and set everything up. Aaron greeted me right as I arrived and got the process started. While changing the oil they inspected my car and found a few issues with the tires I mostly knew about. He offered to send a quote to replace one or all tires & TPMS sensors ( which my 13 yr old car was needing ) I liked that they quote through a text link so you can see the cost and everything associated with the repair. You can decline the service or accept it. We talked about tires and sensors and ultimately decided to go with a better tire than quoted. They priced the cost and labor very competitively and I approved the service. There was no pressure at all during this transaction. Just information and options. I definitely was happy to find Turnage Auto Care, Tyler and Aaron. I'll be bringing both of my Hybrids to them from now on!

So, first thought good ole Wal Mart should be pretty quick to get in and out right~No. They were all still at lunch at 2:00. So we head around the corner to the "intimidating" Big Tire Store afraid of what we'd find. Let me tell you, we were so happy to find the most caring staff that took care of our issue QUICKLY and got us back on the road SAFELY to be with our family in time. 2 things, 1-if they were closer to home they would be my regular tire shop, 2-if my regular tire shop at home ever fails me I'll be driving to Orangeburg for their services. A good tire shop with good service is very hard to find. To find it in an Emergency situation is practically unheard of!
