Later I saw both of them in the bar together getting drunk. A friend reminded me that they have a dress code so I made sure to call ahead to make sure I was in compliance. This family has always taken care of us and our guests. We rent the pontoon boats and they are always clean, filled up, and everything in working order. The former site of a Naval training station: Over 293,000 sailors received basic training here. Who would've thought a Naval training facility would be in Idaho? It was also used as a German POW camp during WW II. There are so many things to do here. Tour the Museum At The Brig, go hiking of one of many trails, camp at one of their numerous camp sites, play disc golf, bring a lunch & picnic along the shoreline of Lake Pend Oreille, the largest lake in ID. Fishing, sailing or boating. Visit the beautiful viewpoint at the end of South Rd. Shooting ranges or even a model airplane flying field! However, I must say their gift shops are somewhat lacking. Go for a day or a weekend, this park is just great.

It was just prior to Memorial Day weekend, so spring had sprung we had geese with babies parade through our yard and private beach. There were bald eagles and deer everywhere. We had one bald eagle that sat on a tree for hours almost every day. The natural beauty is unrivaled and the owner and his son were so helpful and friendly. We sat for hours outside just enjoying the natural beauty and wildlife. Farragut State Park is literally right next door to the resort, a must see. We loved it there so much that we would love to retire to the area. Thank you for an amazing stay and the most adorable cabin and private beach. Also, everything you could possibly need is in the cabin, including a wine opener so you don't have to bring one. Thank you for making our 25th wedding anniversary so magical!!!!

It is actually surrounded by beautiful mountains in Blanchard Idaho. Stone Ridge Motorcoach Resort is a Class A only motorcoach resort. It is a great place to escape for a quiet retreat. First let me start with the staff. The entire staff works very hard to make your stay a memorable one. The entire staff was very helpful and very courteous. Many of them work several different jobs at the facility to make your stay a good one. The facility is absolutely beautiful. The RV resort is spectacular with large roads throughout the park, extra large level concrete spaces and grass yards surrounding ever space. It is extremely quiet with stunning views in every direction. However with all that said there are a couple things that you may need or perhaps are important to know. No cable TV inputs, so you better have satellite. The facility only has wifi at the golf course club house and grille not at the rv park. Not a big deal but there is no AT&T cell service for 5 miles. However the Verizon signal is very good. The grille is a very casual with a limited menu but as I said previously the staff is very hard working and friendly. As for the golf course, absolutely beautiful and only $40.00 for a round of golf. I personally thought that was a great deal. We've been here for 3 weeks and you'd think by now he'd know our names, or maybe smile, or even say hello. Being friendly doesn't cost the course any more money, but it goes a long way in customer satisfaction and word of mouth recommendations. We planned on looking at real estate on this trip. But have a few other options, so we'll invest our money elsewhere. In fact, we had friends coming to stay here next month and told them not to bother. The course also needs a Marshall or someone that loops the course a few times a day. Homeowners on this course tend to jump in and it creates a big back up. In our 3 weeks here, it has happened each and every time. We spoke to one homeowner and he told us that he feels entitled to do so and knows that the management is "lazy as F", so no chance they're ever going to stop it. Also had a few choice words about how rude Randy in the pro shop is. It's unfortunate, because the course is fun and challenging. But Randy's attitude is causing us to cut this vacation short and move to a new spot. With Covid, there's alot of availability and the competition for vacation dollars is fierce. Fortunately in our favor! We've made some new friends here and will check back to see if the management issues have improved.

John and Rosie are the best faces for the YMCA Litehouse. Their personalities are so warm & welcoming. As a traveling medical professional, I have been to dozens of Y's throughout the country and there is no better YMCA than Sandpoint's Litehouse. Also, so appreciated are the sauna and steam rooms which hardly any other Y has. The Litehouse is Uber clean and the pool is amazing. I can't recommend this YMCA highly enough. The aerobics machines are also not well maintained, for example 1 of 3 EFX elliptical trainers has been out of service for weeks. The swimming pool,is marginally available for lap swimming, every weekday afternoon 2.5 hours are for swim team training. Other times the pool is closed due to lack of life guards or when available there aren't enough lanes for lap swimming available. Management seems more interested in gaining new members rather than maintains the facility and the equipment.
